Fun fact: this video is a single 90 second shot containing over 350 animsets. Yes. it got a little out of hand. This is a Saxxy entry. I originally intended to break my writers block by doing a spin on Kanye' West's Fantastic "Power" music video, but things quickly snowballed out of control. All told this video actually only took about 3 days of real work to complete 99% of it. but by then the project file was so bloated that it would literally take 10-30 seconds simply to click on something. So eventually my frustration with the program overcame my desire to cram more stuff and polish in there. You'll find this still syncs up well to the kanye song too.
Major Props go out to JimboMcb with his fantastic rigging work as well as his L4D2 compatibility pack, and to Jp Neufeld (100 apologies for the typo man : ( ), for remixing the Midnight Ride song. Minor props as well to Narry Gewman for his fancy mocap dancing, and to James Mcvinnie for his expert advice.

It's a good thing it's slowed down. There's so much happening that you wouldn't see it normal speed.
Great timing, it fitted well with the music (especially as it's from the same game), everywhere there is something awesome to see (did anyone see the smoker with the guitar in the port-a-potty?)
My only criticism is that Nick's actions looked a bit jerky, but otherwise, it was awesome!

I'll never forget the day I heard this song for the first time, it was a random game and I was going to attack the survivors until one of them turned on a jukebox. this song played, I appeared as one of the infected to show that I came in peace to listen with them, the best part is that I was a tank and I kept moving to shake the ground to follow the rhythm of the song
