The Faroe Islands is an country which consider 18 small islands. The country was under Norway back in the time when Ólavur Trúgvason, the king, lost. Since they were fighting against Sweden, as said Sweden won, the islands were under Sweden. After that Sweden sold the islands to the danish kingdom. You just can't compare us to some kinda groups. Common sense please, it was Sweden's guilt. We're a country just like all the others, but we're just safe under the Danish Kingdom. :P - Harry

    Wikipedia:
The Faroe Islands are an island group and archipelago under the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Denmark, situated between the Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean, approximately halfway between Norway and Iceland.
So, technically speaking, the Faroe Islands ARE part of Denmark in the same way that Puerto Rico and Guam are part of the United States.
Of course Charlie Pride isn't from Denmark. Don't know the other guy.

There is a difference, Faroe Islands is under Denmark but we have home rule.
We are in fact more independent than Scotland. We decide who fishes in our waters.
We are a country with our own flag and national anthem.
Saying that Greenlanders and Faroese are Danish people is wrong.
We have our own traditions and we are not even related to eachother.

It wasn't in Denmark, it was in Faroe Islands. Neither of them are from Denmark.
