Story time...
Ever since I was a young kid, I've always been so fascinated & interested in war history to the point I hunted down every war game I could possibly play during that time just to get a feel of what the actual technology was like. In 2014 I ended up finding this game along with Phly as well & till this day they still catch my attention. During the same year, Christmas day I had gotten a basic laptop as a gift & the first thing I did as soon as I turned it on was install War Thunder. Apart from the game, I witnessed this man grow to where he is now. He deserves everything he has now & I still can't believe he has a son now too because I also have children of my own now & yes...I still play War Thunder when I have spare time. If you read this Phly, thank you for everything you've done & congratulations on all your success. You deserve it all komrade.

Hey Phly, the Mig-21PFM can radar lock on aircraft and the kh66 will follow that lock, its not acurate but its a fun mechanic, what about using it to hunt helicopters? its also an excuse to use the new 9.3 bmp-2m

you can bind keys to all of the flight controls, for example i have w and s as pitch, a and d as roll which means you can still turnfight whilst looking around you with freelook. Either he does that or he uses joystick/controller I'm not sure
binding WASD to elevators/rudder/roll etc
Free look maybe. I think it is defaulted to the “c” key.

@@jacksondaily2286 you can bind those to shift + ctrl or the scroll wheel. I have mine a bit funny; I have s for pull up but w for increase throttle and then shift for decrease throttle and i dont have a pitch down control other than the mouse, but really you can set it up to whatever you find most comfortable. Experiment in test flight for a bit

I was grinding 7.3 China today, trying to spade the M48A1 and Type 86. These god damn Jagdtigers are magical. I will fire HEATFS and ATGMs straight through the front plate with a perfect dead-on hit, and they'll just do no damage. Even the 86's HJ-73E tandem warhead does nothing, just spits at the crew and turns them orange most of the time. I fired maybe half a dozen shots at Jagdtigers today, and only half of them managed to kill crew, and not a single one-shot.

Hey phly I’ve just been playing random vehicles in random lineups and one vehicle I personally have had a fun time with and nobody plays is the MARS15, it’s an 8.0 interesting light French tank. I just think you should give it a shot :)

I just pulled off a tunnel run quad kill on RB 1.3 and all I could think of was, "I can retire just like Phly!"
I lobbed a load of bombs in the tunnel once with a larger aircraft. I got 4 or 5 kills from it, easily my greatest achievement in the game.
I strictly only planes ground forces and I hate helicopters and planes. I love SPAA with a passion. But man... that was the coolest plane video I've ever watched. Please don't actually retire.
