- In this video, we'll learn about the three measures of central tendency (that is, the mean, median, and mode). We'll learn formulas for the population mean and the sample mean as a way of getting used to the mathematical notation we use in statistics. Finally, we'll learn about how the three measures of central tendency are influenced by skew (e.g., outliers) in a dataset.
Hi Mr. Storage, last year as a freshman student, I prepared for the introduction to psychology course with your videos. Now, as a sophomore student, I am taking a statistics course this year, and I am here again. Thanks for your beneficial videos, you are the best!
I have stats next semester. getting ahead of the curve while I can
This makes what more sense that what my teacher teaches thank you!!
Really thankful that I found your videos
Great video for the beginner! Thank you
This video jus summed up all my AP class , thank u
Thank you so much for making this video
Thanks so much Prof!
Thank you so much !
Thank you really 🤗
Thank you sir! 😭🙏
Hi, first of all thank you for free qualified lessons.
Secondly, why in the left skewed bar the mode is the highest?
I didn't understand the median in that positively and negatively skewed curved shouldn't the median be at position 6 or7 or in between them cause the total numbers are upto 12
sorry if that feels dumb question to you I am pretty new to this concept
I´ve the same question. It seems that median should be at 6.5 if we have 12 participants in a study and the scores are 1 to 12, and the mean 78/12 = 6,5. Does the picture represent other numbers?
Thank u
What is an ogive?
