I am about to do this but concerned about making pro active mods to the ground clearance in order to avoid this as an issue. Raising front etc and trimming splitter from underneath. Would love to see a video on that.

Hey Scott, I just finished my bumper install. Had to add a few screws and bolts but it came out great. My concern is the inch and a half clearance in front of each wheel. I can’t imagine what it’s like driving your car around out there. California roads are much better and I still Drag everywhere.

Question for you, just received the nose cover for my Z51, and I’m curious about the air pressure that will be building up in front of the wheelwells because the ZR1 vents will allow massive air flow vs Z51. I’ll be on track a lot at high speeds and curious if you’re aware of any mods, I might need to make to allow the air to escape that area.
Scott, on the install of the ZR1 high wing conversion, the two side pieces for the wing seems to be two way taped. Its the last thing i need to do. Your instructions were amazing. Is that how you assembled the wing??? can you suggest a better adhesive??? Please and Thank You Scott
Hi Scott... when I got my Wing it was a Prototype per say and they had already attached the Wing caps on the wing so I did not know how it was attached. But Iater one of my wing caps got a little loose and so I took a close look and saw that it was 2 sided stick tape. So i removed the caps and the stick tape and went down to AutoZone and got some plastic 2 part epoxy. Then I drilled holes in the end of the wing and screwed some thread stock into the Wing Cap and then attached it that way. IT has been super tight ever since. Good Luck!!

If you pull all of the sticky tape off you will see 2 holes with threads then I drilled 2 holes in the end of the wing itself and filled the holes at the end of the wing with epoxy and then I inserted the thread stock in to the holes in the end of the wing
Ok sorry for all the questions! I was just watching the speed bug’s video and he was saying on his conversion you’re going to spend at least $5000 to do this properly. But he’s not using the EOS bumper. Is that basically what it’s gonna cost to do this? I talk to my body shop here in town and they quoted me $750 Painted and installed. The bumper itself through EOS is $1,265.54 CND not excluding shipping Thanks again for your time

A company rep said that it is 1.5 inches which seems unusually low. Is it lower than a stock ZR1? Also, I believe you raised the car in front by an inch on stock bolts? Are there any problems with that and what other specific components of the splitter can be modified or trimmed in order to get the clearance to 4 inches?

The bumper does have some issues as most aftermarket parts do, but for the most part I am very happy with it and would never go back to the stock bumper.
@@BuildNMotion IT does sit lower so I ended up having to cut some of the splitter off and raise the front end a little on the stock bolts. Not hard to do.
What's confusing to me is; the Z06 has a wider body, but this front nose says it fits the Stingray and the Z06. Are there any pictures showing this front nose on a Z06 or Grand Sport C7?
Great question... no I did not have to do anything I took it to the Body Shop in my Escalade and took the car down to the shop also so they could color match the paint.

I was watching this video a guy posted he had the Vicrez ZR1 bumper and he was saying it was a nightmare trying to get it on because nothing lined up properly and he was saying the bottom lip is such very bad quality that he busted off two or three of the bottom lips already going into his driveway.
Hello, As wish any aftermarket part there will be stuff that you find does not line up. Fortunately the top or outside parts line up pretty good.The problem areas are under the car where it all attaches. You will have make adjustments to the bolts holes and such take it fit. But it will fit just take your time. Now as far as the front splitter you will to cut off a lot of it to get your clearance back because the new bumper is almost 2 inches lower than the stock bumper. So the reason your friend has broke so many of them is because it is so low. I will try to do a video soon to cover what I had to do to fix these issues. But even though it has problems, I still love mine!!

Call me crazy but I think it would look nicer without the splitter. More cleaner looking. I can also put the splitter on if it looks to bare or like something is missing 🙂
Hi Cory... an while back I broke my splitter and had to take it off to get it repaired. I really didnt like it. it looked like it was missing something at least to me. if you didnt put it on you would not have any clearance issues. Good Luck!!
Install video is great. But IMO this bumper is not very good on the Stingray. The rear looks even more narrow. The front clearance is less than the wheel gap and requires 4x4 mode to not kill the splitter. A lowered stock fascia with stage 1/2/3 aero is perfect looks-wise. For performance, I think the larger openings just allow turbulent air to get trapped inside the body instead of flowing around/through it properly like on a ZR1.
When I see a non ZR1 car with a ZR1 front bumper I think he’s smashed it up and that’s why he changed it. I would never consider doing that swap on my GS.

I would recommend that you buy the kit and then take to a body shop and have them paint it and install it. But if you want us to do it you would still need to have it painted and then bring it to us and would charge you between 500 and 800 depending on the condition of your car and the fitment.
Hello, I am so sorry. I know they are low and I had to start using Curb Ramps to get into my drive way and I too hit something and it broke the Splitter and I had to have it repaired. I ended up doing two things. I cut some of the splitter off at the bottom and I also raised the front end of the car up to regain my clearance. I wish you the best of luck.

@Bill A its not fake foo, these are actual parts for chevy corvettes not OEM but exact replicas. if you have 5.7 RT Challenger and put SRT red eye hood on it does that make it a fake red eye?

The front ducts are already supported behind the grill there is no need to attach them to the grill.

Yes raise the car on the stock bolts and you can cut almost an inch off the bottom of the splitter to gain back most of the clearance.

A ZR-1 is $145,000.00 and I love the look I don't need 755 HP my car is fast enough.

It's a little much for a Stingray, with all the additions, you could have went with a GS upgrade.
Probably so if I was buying it from the get go. But the GS has the same front end as the Stingray. I love the look of the ZR-1 Front End
