Thanks for the great tutorial. I installed my side skirts this past weekend. Half way through I went to Harbor Freight and bought a cheap pneumatic rivet gun. World of difference lol. This was way easier than I thought it would be. I admit I bought cheap EBay skirts first but never even tried to install. Ordered yours and they are so much better. The pre drilled holes make it so easy. I was by myself. Used clamps for driver side but just the 7mm screws to line up passenger side. Worked perfectly. Love the look. Thanks!
I called Joseph about 10 minutes before labor day weekend to ask questions.... I am a pretty big enthusiast, but don't know jack about this type of stuff. Picked up my first Corvette, and was trying to soak as much information as I could! Thanks for setting me straight Joseph. I'm glad we could do business! Guys, you must trust this process, you will not be let down. Order from ACS!!! - Nate from Missouri :D
Finally a corvette Chanel where the work is done thoroughly and correctly. Love to see people take pride, and give attention to detail when doing work. So many bad videos out there, with bad instruction and misinformation. Where are you guys located? Do you perform work on corvettes for clients? Just bought a zo6 2016 with 1100 miles on it 😬
@@ACSCOMPOSITE oh wow you guys are a little ways from me. I’m located in North Carolina. I’m always on the look out for great shops though. I just subscribed, look forward to checking out more of your content. Keep up the great job up there in Canada!
I'm not sold on the rivets. Normally when you drill out a rivet the mushroom section stays in the frame rail cavity forever rattling around. I'd be a lot happier if the rivet element created a female thread so we can remove and reinstall the rocker in the future without leaving metal rattling around in the frame. But I loved all the technical product discussion Joseph provided.
Valid concern. However, you can peel down the backside of the OEM panel and get compressed air and blow out the shavings. Also, there is a steel wool at the end of the rocker. The shavings will get caught in there and preventing rattling and you can remote it to clean it up. We do it all the time. A rivnut could work (insert female thread). Might not have the clearance for that though.
Hi Buddy, we are continually monitoring the US-Canada border situation and current travel restrictions. At this time, it is not looking like we will be able to attend.
Hi James, yes holes will be present if removed! We have found most Corvette owners and future owners are in search of side rockers for theirs as the advantages outweigh the disadvantage of having drill holes. Also, these are the same holes you would find in any Corvette off the dealer lot with the GM packages on them. Thanks for your comment :)

Any dealers and installers around Charlotte, NC?
None in Charlotte :(
@@ACSCOMPOSITE Any in North Carolina at all?
Unfortunately no :( however most, if not all, body shops would be able to handle this install!
Do you guys stamp your ACS composite Products to ensure genuine ACS composite products?
Yes, all new products have some form of stamping on it
I want to buy this. Dose it fits on my 2015 Corvette C7 Z51 3L? Please advise. Thanks.
Yes they will
@@ACSCOMPOSITE But I live in San Francisco, CA, USA. If they are not fit my car, Can I return them to you? Please confirm. Appreciated.
@@mousse8868 yes of course :)
Why is the passage side rocker different from the driver side rocker.
What do you mean?
@@ACSCOMPOSITE in the video the two sides dont look the same.
will ACS be at Corvettes in carlise for 2021. if so I will get side rockers installed there.
Hi Buddy, we are continually monitoring the US-Canada border situation and current travel restrictions. At this time, it is not looking like we will be able to attend.
And if they ever come off you have holes in the side of your car. That’s what is making me reconsider.

If you take them off black silicone would be a easy filer to use.
