Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this RUclips channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
I remember watching these videos two years ago. I remember wanting to visit Ukraine after seeing what you did. Praying for peace for the Ukrainian people.

How do you choose what clothes to pack? Do you send any back home? How do you switch from warm to cold weather clothes?
Jo W. Hm, i feel like for warm and cold clothing, they buy a little bit at a time and when the clothing is out of season, they donate it? Although, nate never buys new clothing, so idk.

Here in 2022 and I’ve been religiously watching through to get to your Ukraine series. I know these videos will make me sad but they deserve the time and attention, praying for peace for 🇺🇦 Ukraine 🇺🇦 and treasuring these videos of what was.

Switzerland is such a beautiful country . That train journey looked amazing 😍
From 04.30 until 00.30 everyday 28.500 trains, buses.ships(lakes),cablecars, mountain-trains,city-buses going from a to b
all day long
every railway station and city bus stations middle of the towns ....
.the trains 98% on time
I'm 48 years old and I don't have driver license because of trains and buses while you can go every where in Switzerland with them
Switzerland is second country after Japan to much trains uses
and for ALL buses ships and trains cablecars ticket you can buy from one app.......Or one ticket machine every station !
the app track all of them over GPS!
35.000 Swiss clocks is there .....on the stations !all work exactly same !

yes Bulgaria has great nature i would really suggest you guys hike up/take the 4x4 up to orlovo oko(eagles eye) bulgarias capital city is i would say like any other eastern european capital city but check out Bulgarias nature, the Rhodope mountains hold so much wonder and mystery the very famous BABA Vanga etc, have a google i would suggest checking out bulgaria but in a hiking/mountains kind of way

When you guys get through with traveling the world, you should have a series on exploring the smaller cities of the US and Canada. Like Nashville, El Paso, Buffalo, Edmunton.... for example.

The ATM situation is absolutely normal - I was in Lviv this march and maximum I could take at once is like 300uah. And I've tried a lot of ATMs.
Maciek O Am in Lviv now...Go to any BANK machine and they will give up to 10,000 uah!
I'm so glad u shared your secret. Some budget airlines are so stingy with their carry on weight. I wish international airlines would just agree to a common standard for weight of carry on and the budget airlines should just do what Ryanair does: charge for a carry on but give a standard/generous carryon weight. I've heard Ukrainian Airlines is notorious for their strictness, so glad the employees are getting lazy. I've also heard other airline employees probably believe if u can carry it on your back, it's probably not too heavy.

what if at the end (after country 100) you did like a review where you cover the country where you did specific things. for example, the country with the most train rides, longest time spent in an airport, best meal(s), etc!!! i think that would be cool if you weren’t planning on doing that already

Weight limits are for the safety of everyone on the plane and to assist in calculating fuel requirements. I’d say being gleeful about getting past a security check & weigh in isn’t a good thing.
I absolutely loved the Zurich international airport. It was my absolute favourite and the staff was amazing!
My husband and I went to Switzerland last year for the first time and we LOVED that exact same chocolate bar. And also the coop version! Hands down the best chocolate. I love your videos. You’re going to need to go back to Interlaken and Grindelwald.
