When they were doing their 50th anniversary tour the wife asked me "What are you doing on Saturday?" "Nothing" I replied. "Yes you are" she said "You're going to see The Who" I was blown away. We could only afford cheap seats so we were at the back really high up. When I took my seat I looked down and my heart started doing backflips. We went to the front desk and asked if they had anything a little lower. The girl on the desk smiled and said she could help. We ended up in the VIP section right next to the stage. Unbelievable. An incredible show. And when Roger was singing Bellboy, looking up and paying tribute to Keith on the large screen behind him, I was blown away. Tears flowed. My wife rocks. Almost as much as The Who.

Great history lesson @Chad Carr. Its cool learning more about the musicians I grew up listening to. Most of the music made today is simply garbage. Im 51 this year and it has saddened me many times to see some of the greatest musicians such as Peart and Eddie Van Halen passing both from Cancer. It was good to see Roger bellowing out the lyrics to one of my favorite songs of my youth. I mis my youth and the music back then but the show must go on......
Katie the violinist is still traveling with The Who and just finished up the North American leg of their Who Hits Back tour. She’s a fantastic musician.
I agree. I have always loved The Who & " Baba O`Riley " is the first song that Atlanta's 96 Rock played, at least that was the story then. Rodger can't seem to toss the microphone anymore but Pete can still rev up with his guitar, as always!!

Right now, at this very moment, you're somewhere in the crowd at the concert. Pete and Roger are there too. Scratch it off...you have arrived! My turn was in '83 or'82, Orlando. I was about three rows out of range of the Great Ketchup Fight. Some idiot got a cup of ketchup or mustard and threw it down into the lower seats. They sent return fire of all sorts. Someone...or several....grabbed the ketchup and mustard dispensers from the concessions stand. It was hilarious to those of us our of range. A couple of thousand people in a food fight. Who else remembers cleaning their weed on a small tray or double album cover? I know, I shouldn't have taken it but, meh, it was just that sort of time in life. Baba O'Riley blasting on the 8 track while I'm tooling down a gravel road in my 69 Camaro 396 SS going home to the trailer I lived in during part of college. Well, apart from the Stones who continue to sire children to those generations too!
The greatest version you will ever see. Awesome.
I was just at this concert last night in Florida. It was great. This woman has amazing talent!
one of the best rock songs ever...goosebump inducing when played loud..
A rock masterpiece.
Roger Daltrey & "The Who" had so many great songs. This is by far one of their best. These guys are awesome, they have been performing for nearly 60 years 👍🏻
Y'all--we need to cherish these guys. I love them so much, I can't even imagine a world without them in it. #LongLiveRock #LongLivePeteTownshend #LongLiveRogerDaltrey
They'll ALWAYS be ALIVE and LOUD in my mind, heart, and ears.
Possibly the greatest band of all time, never sold out.
Dont know where you get your facts
I was in the first row on the hill. I had brought my army jacket with the Quadrophenia logo painted on the back. As soon as they took the field. The rain. The cold. It all went away. I enjoyed this concert so much and I hope to see them again
Nero_Mania can you bring chairs in the grass? I’ve never been anywhere but a seat.
Qstick333 yes you could. My small group of five had brought chairs. But by the end I was standing. Three of them left and sat in the car before the last two of three songs. But me and my dad stayed. We packed up the chairs, tarp, and anything else we had. And then stood for Baba O’Reilly
I wish I had that jacket...I think Quadrophenia is brilliance in a bottle. Bell boy and Out of My Brain on the Train. OMG
Love, love, love The Who. Long Live Rock!!
Absolutely F***ing marvellous!!! Great stuff from rock 'n' roll royalty!!! :):):)
