Yeah, and the cameraman can't stop showing Townshend even when JE is utterly ripping on bass and Pete's just chording. We don't even see there's a 4th guy onstage until a distant shot at 1:29.
Edit: Just saw similar comments further down the thread. Nothing original here, I'm just joining the choir. I liked whoever said that 20th-century rock concert cameramen must have been told never to follow the bassist.

There are just not enough shots of John Entwhistle in this video. Listen to those lines. His musicianship is almost free form playing with Townshend, Moon and Daltrey’s vocals almost simultaneously. Pure genius. I picked up the bass 45 years ago and never took a lesson after hearing him play My Generation.

Heck, also maybe the best rock album ever. It starts with Baba O'Riley, which as I type in June, 2020, nearly 50 years later, has one of the most frequently used and recognizable riffs,, and ends with Won't Get Fooled Again. The songs in the middle aren't quite at the level of these classics, but there's not a mediocre song on *Who's Next*.
They were the first band to use volume effectively. They invented metal, or *heavy* metal, as it was called. (You can hear them doing it on later releases of Live at Leeds, especially on the 15 minute version of My Generation). Pete wrote, and the band performed, the first successful rock opera. In their prime they were electrifying. No one has rocked harder. No one has ever had songs to do it. Just an awesome band.

Kenney Jones was a solid replacement. Didn't have Moon's bombast for sure (who does?) but he's a solid drummer with arguably better rhythm than Moon.

Townshend plays so accurate - while showing Bruce Lee some kicks and Fred Astaire some dance moves. His chords are sharp like razor blades - and he misses not one. What high quality of musicianship and showmanship!!!!
