“Everything I do I do it for you” is a badass Brian Adam’s song. Then listen to “when you really love a women” then “summer of 69” then “please forgive me” don’t miss these songs they are really good. Kind of his top five songs by him.
I would be happy with Summer of '69 at my funeral. I have loved Bryan's music all my adult life. I bought the "Reckless" album and the rest is history. Utterly brilliant guitarist/bassist, vocalist and the rest of his band are just as talented. When you have music as good as this, why would settle for some of the samey formulaic dross they churn out these days (and it's a shame because there are plenty of talented musicians around these days but they never get heard). Oh yeah. Always.

Always a pleasure to hear Bryan Adams, I highly recommend his trio with Sting and Rod Stewart 'All for Love' from the 1993 version of Three Musketeers and 'Everything I Do (I Do it for You)' from the 1991 Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. As for where you might have heard this before, it was remixed by DJ Sammy in the early 2000s and got pretty good air play.

Actually, this is your fourth Bryan Adams song, after "Summer of '69", "Run to You", and "Cuts Like a Knife". If at some point you react to "Robin Hood: Prince of Theives" with Kevin Costner, I suppose that's when you'll react to his monster song from that film, "Everything I Do (I Do It For You)". In the meantime, you can do "Straight From the Heart", "This Time", "Somebody", "One Night Love Affair", or.... his duet with the amazing Tina Turner, "It's Only Love".
That last list of songs you mentioned are, to me, definitive songs from Bryan Adams (along with Cuts Like a Knife and Run to You). I know he's had bigger hits than some of them, but damn, they're all great songs. At a certain point in the 80s, he was just a hit machine, one song right after another.
I recommend any and all of these songs listed here as well as Please forgive me, Can't stop this thing we started, there will never be another tonight, waking up the neighbours and all for one and one for all with Sting and Rod Stewart
Bryan is our legendary iconic Canadian ROCKER. This girl is actually in two more of his videos - Summer of 69 and Run to You. Kind of like a trilogy. Your next one HAS to be Kids Wanna Rock. It's a pure straight up BANGER from start to finish. Will have you both dancing right out of your chair. And has the most INCREDIBLE guitar solo that Jordan will LOVE. He also does a fantastic duet with Sting and Rod Stewart called All for Love from the Robin Hood soundtrack. The melodies are amazing. Also his duet with Tina Turner is a MUST listen - It's Only Love. This Time, Cuts Like a Knife, Somebody, Do I Have to Say the Words are also some of his best. A fantastic 40 year rabbit hole to dig into.
The actress is Lysette Anthony and she is in four of his videos in total, Summer of 69, Somebody, Heaven and Run to you, they all form a sort of mini story, this one ends with the snow falling outside, while run to you is set in the snow
He actually done a concert several years back in my tiny small Scottish town. We could not believe he actually came. To hear this song live was very special and something I'll never forget.
Bryan Adams is the real deal. I saw in the 80s at the Amnesty International concert in ATL - wasn't expecting much and he totally killed it. Next up Bryan Adams & Tina Turner - It's Only Love ... AMAZING
Bryan Adams was the Canadian Bruce Springsteen during the 80's. He had so many hits! Summer of 69, Everything I do, I Do It For You, Run To You, Here I Am and Run To You ...
So many good Bryan Admas songs. Takes me back to better days when I didn't have a care in the world. Other great songs are cuts like a knife, It's only love (w Tina Turner), straight from the heart, Do I have to say the words, run to you, please forgive me, somebody, Cant stop this thing we started and many more!
One of my favourites is "What's it gonna be?" from "Cuts Like a Knife" but unfortunately they took down the audio only video from RUclips so I can't post the link. It should have been a smash hit. As you say (@PortalOfWisdom) there are so many fantastic hits.
Saw Bryan Adams last year and he was so good when he played heaven I was literally crying just such a beautiful song the song was released in 1985 and it gives me chills every time so good
A lot of Bryan Adams' songs have a similar feel. This one was featured in a little known, and pretty bad, film ("A Night in Heaven"), but several of his other songs have been used in more well known blockbuster movies like Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Disney's live action Three Musketeers, and he composed all the songs in the animated movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimerron. A lot of his songs also get used in movies and TV shows. This particular song (Heaven) also was inspired a lot by Journey's Faithfully which you guys reacted to not long ago.
Man, when this song was out I was so obsessed! I was 13 when it came out. I played it like 12x per day. I even set up my parents' stereo system with a timer & the needle already on the record to wake me up in the morning. I still remember playing in our back yard with kids my mom babysat (summer of '85) and my dad came home with some bad news for me. In the paper, they printed the top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart every Thursday, and my dad told me "Heaven" fell out of #1.
Bryan Adams was on a New York subway in 1985 going to Giants stadium where he had a sold out concert and no one on the subway recognized him. Most of the people on the subway were going to the same show to see Bryan Adams. true story
I took a girl to see Bryan Adams in the '80s. She was my girlfriend at the time and she was a big fan of his, I really wasn't. But it was her birthday and I surprised her with the tickets and she was thrilled.
One of my favourite Bryan Adams' song... I hope you should also react to his 90s hits like "Everything I Do, Please Forgive Me, Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman, Do I Have To Say The Words, or Cloud Number Nine.."
Just saw Bryan Adams live few hours ago in Amsterdam. He was incredible. He still can sing just like in the 80’s. His voice hasn’t change at all. He just released a new album in march this year.
One of my favorite Bryan Adams songs is All for Love, a collaboration he did with Rod Stewart & Sting. Its from the soundtrack of The Three Musketeers and their voices just blend so so well together. I highly recommend giving it a listen!
Bryan Adams and Barbra Streisand: I Finally Found Someone. I am not sure if you listened to this song already but Bryan Adams and Barbra Streisand's voices are amazing together. It's one of my favorite songs and just so romantic. I would recommend that if you have not listened to it already.
When I got to see Bryan Adams in concert, I heard the entire stadium singing along, and Bryan stopped singing to let the audience carry on. it was amazing to hear 40,000 people to sing along to such a great song. You guys need to do more of this Canadian icon! I highly recommend his creation as Canada's answer to USA For Africa, 'Tears are Not Enough'. Look it up!
This guy makes me proud to be Canadian🇨🇦 Just saw him in concert for the fourth time a few weeks back right here where I live in Southern Alberta. Bryan never disappoints, he’s still a phenomenal live performer after all these years❤
Yes, Bryan Adams is one of those artists that in my opinion define the sound of 1980s rock. I can see a lot of comparisons with Adams' music to Springsteen's music but keep in mind that Adams is Canadian. As my Canadian friends pointed out to me, every teenage girl in Canada in the 1980s had a crush on Bryan Adams and Corey Hart.
One of my all time fav artists. Listen to: Please forgive me, everything I do (I do it for you), do I have to say the words and Have you ever really loved a woman.
guys! this song is so beautiful. i bet you will love the same another power ballad of his, called "all for love" which he sing with... wait for it... High school had a massive crush on a boy and he sang this to me on the phone! Omg! I had butterflies like I do remembering it! Thank you so much for the great memory! We are still friends. One of the things I love most is a man singing to me! I know this was the senior prom song. Masterpiece period!
Awwwwww such a sweet memory Lizzy!🥰 This came out in my senior year in HS Class of 84 in the house!!! lol🎓 😁Listening to this, just reminiscing on the days of no cell phones, no texting, just passing notes on torn notebook paper...rushing to get home, eagerly and anxiously waiting for the phone to ring, hoping ur Mom didn't get to it before u did, lol then the long, awkward pauses, while holding the receiver so tight against ur ear, that feeling of angst, innocence, butterflies... sigh...what a nerve-racking time, but I wouldn't trade those memories for all the iPhones in the world! lol🤣🥰🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Bryan Adams does a song with two other unique voices, Sting, Rod Stewart that is just sheer magic. Whoever decided to put these three voices together was just brilliant. The song is "All for Love" I highly recommend this song.
Bryan Adams, as an ex A&M employee from Vancouver I can tell you from personal experience that this man is a gem. I have stories, none of them salacious but all of the 100% clean fun & laughs. Great guy, made you want success for him unlike say a certain year of the cat dude Edited to mention Kieth Scott is the guitar player, great guy and also a helluva center fielder in beer league softball 😂
Next Bryan Adams song: "Somebody." His distinctive voice can also be heard as a backup for the Glass Tiger 1986 hit, "Don't Forget Me When I'm Gone." The Glass Tiger has plenty of horns in it--if that helps.😂
Bryan Adams hit it huge in '83 - so many hits came off 'Cuts Like A Knife' and late '84's 'Reckless' albums - they dominated the radio - guaranteed, every high school dance played 'Heaven' for a slow song, and a ton of proud kids wore his concert tee's to school - Bryan's range of songwriting is amazing - a hit-making machine from '83 through '95 - represented blue-collar working class - Canada's most commercially successful rock band - the soundtrack of Gen X -
Bryan Adams is one of my favorites. Not sure if you picked up on this, but this is the same girl that was in the run to you and Summer of 69 videos. It is a trilogy that tells a story. Go back and watch the first two. For great romantic tune from Bryan adams, check out have you ever really loved a woman? ( I had the privilege of seeing him alive twice once in 1987, and once in 1989. He is a fantastic live performer one of the best ever)
Bryan Adams great music. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YA'LL AND FAMILY.HAVE A GREAT DAY! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR THE SMILES YOU BRING TO US ALL EACH DAY! Thank You
I checked and didn’t see where y’all did his song “Please forgive me.” Another massive hit of his- Please react to that one next-the official video is great too! 💝💙✨
One of my favorite songs from him. For my favorite song and video, it would have to be Do I Have To Say The Words. Thanks and a Happy Thanksgiving to all.
I think the term you were looking for is "power ballad". Power ballads were practically a requirement for rock singers or bands in the 80s/90s, but Bryan Adams had a special talent for them. It's no doubt one reason he was on so many movie soundtracks during that time. You'd probably enjoy "Everything I Do, I Do it for You", and the song he did with Sting and Rod Stewart, "All For Love". For something different and fun, he also performed "O Solo Mio" with the maestro, Luciano Pavarotti! (Still waiting for y'all to react to a VoicePlay song too though) ;-P
If you guys haven't seen the Movie "Spirit-Stallion of the Cimarron" (2002), Bryan sings the songs in the movie, and if you are up to do an animated film on the movie reactions, that is a good one. I know how you both loved Cisco(the horse), and "Spirit" is a beautiful story (sad and happy..mostly happy though). Bryan sings the songs, and Matt Damon narrates the story(sort of like Spirit's thoughts narration, because the horse doesn't talk..just thinks in words). It is a film from the horse's perspective, which is one thing that makes it such a good movie.
Bryan Adams is one of the best male singers to come out of Canada he aslo sang the love theme from Robin Hood Prince Of Theives ( everything i do)( i do it for you )

Is everything I do is that the only song from the Robin hood movie? I don't know I don't think that that's what I'm coming up with working up I don't know
Bryan Adams opened up for Journey when they toured in 1983 and was supposedly inspired to write this after hearing their song "Faithfully"--to which you've previously reacted.
There is a live version of this from Wembley Stadium in 1996...probably the most amazing live performance I've ever seen. Wish I'd been there live across the pond for sure! He was r ight there with all the rock bands in the 80's. Metalheads would cry tears almost!
Pay attention to the mini story, the girl shows up in 3-4 videos one continuing the story with the next, all started with Summer of '69! Also includes Heaven & Run to You.
I think there was a pop cover of this song within the last 15 years. Some of the chord progressions are reminiscent of Journey’s Faithfully. I’ve heard this song dozens of times and I’ve only made the connection now.
Probably my favorite Bryan Adams song. Thanks. Quick search shows 1983 movie called "A Night In Heaven". Maybe someplace else too? Nice reaction. Thanks again.

thanks for being someone who checks! Wish everyone would.
Happy Thanksgiving Kimberlini Bambini and surlechapeau! Always love to see suggestions from you two 💙
@@juliewhite7469 hey Julie! Thank you so much, and Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! 😊✨
@@surlechapeau I’ve done my fair share of mess ups.. but trying to do better..
@@juliewhite7469 thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to you
“Cuts Like a Knife” is my favorite by them
One of my favorite songs from him. For my favorite song and video, it would have to be Do I Have To Say The Words. Thanks and a Happy Thanksgiving to all.
All of his songs are hits, and I just love his raspy voice!
I love love love Bryan Adams all his music is amazing 😁
Bryan Adams is one of the best male singers to come out of Canada he aslo sang the love theme from Robin Hood Prince Of Theives ( everything i do)( i do it for you )
A great artist and song ! Happy Thanksgiving 🧡🙏
Look at Amber she's really feeling it, awesome it's in magic mike
Must, Must, Must check out his duet with Tina Turner- It's Only Love!
Yay!! An absolute banger from Brian Adams...love this one. He has a lot of great songs to go through.
This impoverished generation beholding real music for the first time, that's authentic vocalizations, take it in slow, I know you are in the Famine.
Bryan Adams - 'Somebody' is a banger
Ahhh, first "song" with my first love. It was 1988 or 89, the boy was Wesley, and we were 15 years old. "Our younger years" 😂😂
Yes yeah good terms I've got a song I'm thinking of and I can't spit it out publish d*** am I gonna get backYes yeah good terms I've got a song I'm thinking of and I can't spit it out publish d*** am I gonna get back
Where are these songs today. ✌️😁❤️
Find a friend.
“Run to You” you’ll love it
Yes ! 🥰🥰🥰
Great song. I was fortunate to see BA on the Cuts Like a Knife tour. Run to You is my favorite song by him, but this is a close second.
On my own list of the greatest love songs ever written.
Love this song ! No one does a ballad like Bryan Adams 👌🏾👌🏾
PLEASE FORGET ME & HAVE YOU EVER REALLY LOVED A WOMAN, HUGE SONGS, 💪, HEY MAN BRYAN ADAMS IS SO GOOD 🔝💯🔝
Cuts like a knife by Bryan Adam's always my favorite
Everything I Do, I Do it for You is my favorite of his songs.
Omg Bryan Adams brings back memories...Happy Thanksgiving from Texas
all us OLD school Canadians have great memories of getting close to that special someone at the high school dance
"Somebody" is a great Bryan Adams Song. I'd also suggest "Cloud Number Nine" from him as well
Bryan had quite a number of huge hits back in the mid to late 1980’s. Good stuff!
Plus (Everything I do) I do it for you from the 1991 Robinhood movie with Kevin Costner and Alan Rickman.
Saw Bryan Adam in concert in the 90’s. Still one of the best concerts Ever. Half way through the concert he switched stages to be closer to the crowd in the center. amazing ❤️
My era yet again!! Love Bryan Adams. Please more Mr Big just take my heart, Level 42 Something about you, collective soul the world I know and Jason Mraz l won't give up 😁😁😘 happy turkey 🦃 day 😘
Love his songs, voice and personality. Saw him in concert for the first time yesterday and it was amazing!
Heaven By Bryan Adams is such an iconic song a true masterpiece that will always stand the test of time👍👍🆒🆒
Bryan Adams is awesome. Lots of great hits. Went to see him 3 years ago at the AMP in Bentonville, Ar. It was outdoors and hot, but worth it.
This is song was played at every highschool dance in the 80's.
It's so beautiful!
This was me and my girlfriends song, back then....she was really cool, we still talk....30 some years later!
Just watched Bryan Adams live last month and his voice is just soooo amazing!!! Definitely one of the best live performers I've watched. Truly, GOD-given talent! 🔥🔥🔥
There is a live version where he is about to start and the crowd starts singing. You can see the joy in his face when he hears everyone singing his words
Bryan is a Canadian treasure
Love Bryan Adams! He is even better live...saw him in Hawaii New Years Eve as a 5th grader😃
