  • A jetBlue cabin crew takes us through what an emergency evacuation would look like following a controlled crash landing scenario aboard an A320. This is part of the training for inflight and we were very fortunate to get to see it.

    Not fair laughing at the crew. It is serious and really important for them.

      Have you ever gone through rescue training? The simulations are often so over the top you can’t help but laugh. The side benefit is that you force through the laughing and build the muscle memory so you can fall back on your training in an incident. When I had a diver suddenly panic on the surface and begin climbing on his son (his son!) I didn’t even think, I just acted: ditch weights, knee grip tank, manually inflate BCD, and avoid the panicked diver’s arms. We don’t rehearse til we get it right, we rehearse until we can’t get it wrong. Same for cabin crews.

    As a cabin crew if we r laughing like this while recurrent training in my airline I work for…….. 😅 there’s gonna be the nightmare of failing the training.😅😅

      There's a huge difference between training and real situations. Honestly it's okay to have fun during training but when to be serious during the real situation that's when the laughter stops y'all please stop having these negative attitudes. I get it training a serious but it's okay to have a little fun to a certain extent

      @@godslionesswarrior1982 maybe your training and our training is completely different. Hope you have fun in the real situation then, in our training here we have to make sure that the employee will survive their life so we take it seriously in safety training as it is a primary concern.

      Us flight attendants yell out repeated instructions in order to keep the passengers organized and not panicking, when there is chaos in an emergency, there is no order, when there is no order, it will lead to injury or death. We repeat these commands so passengers know what to do upon initial impact.

    I hate the screaming part! is it necessary ? because in reality you're in an emergency already and the screaming makes it worse and scary

    • @pwnage1731
      @pwnage1731 3 года назад +7

      Well, understand that in a real emergency situation the staff are going to have to make sure that their commands are heard over the chaos and screaming that often results from a crash. So, although it may seem repetitive or scary I can assure you that it is necessary.

    • @cxrixga6867
      @cxrixga6867 3 года назад +2

      It is necessary for a Flight Attendant to scream in the event of an emergency like this. While the passengers are panicking and screaming the Cabin Crew will have to scream at the top of their lungs in order for passengers hear the command and know what they’ll have to do.

    • @ZsomborZsombibi
      @ZsomborZsombibi 3 года назад +1

      The real emergency is exactly the reason why the screaming is necessary. This is a company training, the crew needs to experience a situation more or less similar to a real event.
      An other training is the simulation of ditching: flight attendants are pushed into a huge pool (filled with cold water) in complete dark - debris floating everywhere. Not the best joy in their life.

      other airlines do it. it’s because of the slide imagine someone wear high heel and when they slide down the slide is already broken so it is making the evacaution slow because the crew have to shout again that the exit cannot be used.

    こんなに笑い声だらけで緊張感の無い訓練で、役に立つのだろうか?ふざけて真面目に参加していない職員が多すぎる!この会社の飛行機は絶対に乗らないだろう!説得力がなさ過ぎる!スライドで避難することを、アトラクションで遊ぶ事と勘違いしているのがよく分かる!言葉や動作が出来ていても、緊張感が無いと緊急時にCA自身がパニックになって動けなくなると思う。この動画はこの会社の印象を悪くしまうのでは?
