Finally, rappers with knowledge, conviction and TRUE TALENT. That boy said, "Things start to fall apart like Chinua Achebe". "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe is one of my favorite short stories. I've written so many papers about this one story. It's a very compelling tale and It's amazing that he not only found a way to rhyme with "Chinua Achebe" but he actually used the title of the story to reveal a message that was related to his verse in the song. As an English major, I can appreciate their knowledge and use of literary devices to convey such a controversial message. That last verse was straight 🔥🔥 💯👌
Also an obvious callback to the fact that Black Thought is on the track and that one of the best album of The Legendary Roots Crew is named "Things Fall Apart" from Chinua Achebe's book

Yes there were always those who pursued the money, but even NWA was trying to be lyrical in their own way. It's actually frowned upon mostly these days to just be a "rapper".
