String buzz is an entirely different thing, a result of a badly set up instrument. Has nothing to do with Steve's sound. I don't think his bass tech would have been around for this long if he didn't notice a fucked string height.

I realize nearly all bands tend to play their songs faster while performing live. I wish Nicko would not always insist on playing these songs faster, because they are plenty fast originally and it takes away from them having the perfect feel and proper execution.
