Another ticket pickup option is at the desk in citywalk near the restrooms. That service desk generally isn't too busy since it's tucked away.

That was the back of my head at the crepe stand! You were spot on. It took about 20 minutes, but the muffuletta crepe was soooooooooo good! It was great meeting you both and being an extra in one of your videos! 😁
Haha the line to check out is never very long, but the wait for your crepe takes a while. They’re worth it. Though!
Another great video! It was very busy when we were there (March 15-20), and I would tell others to just upgrade your room to a premier resort for the unlimited express passes. It's worth it, and I am so glad we changed our reservation from the Cabana Bay to Royal Pacific. We had friends there who didn't have fast passes and they were miserable. Most unpopular rides had 45-60 minute waits (Minions, Fast & Furious, etc ) and the popular rides like Hagrids had 3+ hour waits. We are looking at going again at the end of September, and even with it being an less crowded time, I'm considering staying at the Royal Pacific again.
P.S. To all those who are running during EPA to get on Hagrids. Please don't...just don't. My youngest almost got knocked over by another parent running with her kids to the line. We did a leisurely, fast-ish walk each morning, and only had a 15 minute wait...all of that was just walking through the queue. You will get on it with very little wait, if any, as long as you are there an hour before the park opens for EPA.
The passes are so worth the premier hotels. Especially if you have 3-4 people in the room! It’s such a great deal most of the time, and the hotels are so nice!

Early park hours was awesome when we were at Universal in February 2022! My son was chosen for the wand experience in Hogsmeade! It was magical.

The buying of tickets at the park amazes me still. We buy everything online before hand when we went last year and I’m gonna check when we come down this year the lines for the ticket kiosks were at least 10 groups deep each.
It’s crazy how many people don’t buy tickets ahead of time!!

Three Broomsticks is our first stop for EPA!! Butterbeer with breakfast is my wake up ritual. At a certain age rope dropping coffee or food becomes the first choice. ha!
Haha yes!! We love that the breakfast meals come with a specialty drink. It’s such a great deal!
Great video, I would remind people though more often to check out the annual passes since it comes with the express pass after 4 PM. I knew nothing about it until someone had mentioned that to me and not only was that cheaper than getting individual tickets and Xpress passes, but now we get to go multiple times a year, not to mention the unbelievable amount of discounts you get throughout the park and hotels.
The premier pass is a great deal because of express! We use ours all the time!

The mobile ordering is a huge time saver! We hate that the parks are incorporating phones to a point you feel like you can’t unplug, but Universal’s not nearly as bad as Disney yet lol

We were there last spring break and your tips were the best! We are definitely slower theme park goers. Heat isn't my favorite so heading back to the hotel for nap time or pool time and a snack and then heading back to the parks in the cooler evening.
We feel that! We’re gonna melt this summer lol the heat is already killing us!
@@ThePughTwo I mean I definitely understand people who have limited time and money but me being miserable from going to the park from open to close in the Florida heat and humidity is not my idea of a good vacation. Everyone is different, I heard a couple in their 50s talking about taking a recovery day in between their park days. It's all about finding your personal comfort zone.

Great tips! We took advantage of the buy 3 days get 2 days free promo and used that savings to get 1 day of express passes four out trip in June. We figured all the other days we will use the other tips to beat the crowds and take our time and on our express day we will get as much use out of it on all our favorite rides.

Hi Anna & Tyler! First off, this is your first Spring/Summer as locals, consider the weather now a Spring Training for the Summer season that you are about to experience. It only gets worst from here with added rain every afternoon! Great tips on how to beat the crowds, but cool it on that Single Ride tip, something’s are better off not said! 😂😂😂😂😂. I can see the next video on how to stay cool during the heat, a great tip for that is to ride Fast & Furious in Studios, not MIB! Ken

That is exactly and the only time my family go. When it first opens. My family and I were able to experience the Harry Potter experience for the first time because it was soo empty. And we had our first butter beer. We loved it. By the time we’re burned out and ready to leave is about 11-1130 and as we’re heading out to leave. The crowds are just starting to roll in. When we get back to our hotel our family can relax and it’s quiet. Because everyone is at the parks around that time 😉we always finish our trip to the parks at Seuss Landing. Thanks for the tips…your tips and tricks have truly made our trip every time magical. Oh and did I mention the ride wait times. We never really had to wait for rides…when we went it was during Spring Break too…highly recommend if you have kids. Go as soon as it opens😊

I visited the parks for the first time last summer and although the express pass is pricey it’s absolutely worth every penny. I got to go on almost every ride. The only ride I had to wait a long time for was for Hagrid’s

Loving all the videos unfortunately it's always pretty busy when we go since we go for my birthday first week of October. We went last year, hoping to go again this year. :)

had passes for 2021 and 2022 and my biggest tip would be to arrive at the parking garage about 90 -120 minutes prior to opening. Makes going through security a breeze. They will scan everyone into the parks an hour prior to opening and you can browse the souvenir shops or get a coffee at starbucks you just can't go past the rope unless you have the highest tier pass.

I absolutely love your videos! We were there March 11-15. It was super crowded, but we had an amazing time. Definitely took advantage of early park admission and parks being open late. We were there 8 AM to 10 PM one of the days! 😮 We didn’t have an express pass for our last day, but the day prior, 6 different rides were on delay, and they “comped” us single ride express passes for 6 rides for each of the 5 people in our party plus RUBY passes that we used to WALK ON to Hagrids (at the time there was a 3 hour wait!). We hit the jackpot.

We actually picked up our annual passes the day before our 1st full park day. Mid March(spring break week for a lot of Central Florida).We arrived in after 6pm and walked right up to guest services in City walk..no wait at all!!😁

My tip on getting the physical tickets/APs is to get them at guest services at Citywalk- especially at night...we walked right up and got ours and the same when I got my kids' APs! Nobody thinks about getting tickets there!

Ah. Summer. Theme parks in the summer are crazy but it makes ya feel like a kid in a way
I always feel like single rider is a crapshoot - I got stuck for a while when I tried it on Velocicoaster watching standby move and learned my lesson on that ride. But I used it on Hagrid’s at close one day in Feb on a whim and waited only 20 minutes, luck was on my side that day!
Haha it’s definitely hit or miss. Especially on those two!
Fantastic ideas. My wife & I always, I mean never (little Monster's Inc. reference) pick up our tickets at the park (always pick em up at our hotel). EPA is fantastic & we always utilize it on every trip. Green Eggs & Ham is fantastic (we tried it based your video recommendations on our last trip and loved it). The Express Pass analogy made me laugh again 😂. As did the "they exist, I exist." LOL 😂

You keep your room key! The keys are personalized and have your name printed on them. They’re cool souvenirs too!

4 days in June. Staying at Hard Rock. Still want to catch Hagrids first. Then velocicoaster, etc. Point taken by comments that said walk to Hagrids. Will be in the parks every day until parks close. If anyone has time to comment would appreciate knowing how far in advance to make restaurant reservations. Family of 7 so awkward number.
You can make reservations up to 6 months in advance, so if you already know what you’re wanting, you might as well go ahead! We hope you have a great time on your trip!!

I think the thing with Express is that if this is a once in a lifetime trip or you only get there every few years because you live really far away, then it’s going to be a great investment because you’ll have less stress trying to hit all the big rides and it frees up time for things like shopping or doing all the wand spots in The Wizarding World or being able to beat the heat by having a nice long air-conditioned mid day meal. I’m pretty far away being Canadian so I might end up only going a handful of times in my life so for that reason it’s worth it to budget Express in. Especially if you go at the busiest time of the year.
Oh we totally agree! If it’s a one and done trip for you, definitely splurge for express if you can. It’s a life saver!
That mid-day heat kills. My wife is dreading the heat for our visit next month. Speaking of heat, a cool video I'd like to see sometime is theme park gadgets and how well they improve your day. For example those neck fans I see people wearing all the time.

Hi, great idea about picking your park tickets up, our first day at Universal is going to be the 4th of July so obviously it’s going to be busy! We land on the 3rd, would we be able to pick our tickets up from Volcano Bay do you know? Or is it just at Universal guest relations. Thanks from Wales (UK)
If you have a three park ticket it’ll all be one in the same! Regardless they should be able to get them for you at VB!
Yeah, if everyone rope drops Hagrid’s or Velocicoaster that leaves most of the park, nearly empty and ripe for the picking, so to speak. You could rope drop breakfast at one of the Harry Potter restaurants, you could rope drop some of the other rides they’re like..hippogriff , go to Spiderman, Transformers or go over to Universal and do the Mummy or Gringotts there’s so much to do.👍
We love how empty the parks feel because everyone goes to the same place! 😁

When you buy annual passes with flex pay , you have to then pick them up at the park? or can they be picked up at the hotel?
In your opinion, is Hagrids better to do first thing in EPA or wait til later at night? We’re going for one day and have express passes. I went last year and tbh, riding hagrids 3 times in one day wasn’t enough lol. But the difference on that trip was we stayed and went to the parks for 4 days so we had more time. This trip, we’re ,waving Disney for one day to come to universal and there are some in our party that haven’t been yet. I just want to maximize our time the best. Love you both and your videos! Very helpful!! Also, we’re going the second week of May
If you get to EPA early enough that you’re towards the front of the line and go straight there, do it first. If not, wait and do it later because that’s where everyone goes during EPA and the line really builds.

Could you guys do a video on where to find gluten free and non-dairy foods in the park!
Pretty much every restaurant has something! You can look at the menus on Universal’s mobile app, and we’ve heard from others that the chefs are really good when you tell them you have an allergy!
I'm heading to Universal next month and I wasnt aware that there was different levels of Fast Pass like you mentioned that some of them will only allows you to get in once so would anyone knows that by staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and that they issue a fast pass for their guess if that pass is unlimited or it would have some restraint to it?
The premier hotels include the unlimited express pass!
What is the time you recommend to get in the queue for hagrids? :)
If you can get there super early and be close to the front of the line when the park opens, first thing is great! If you’re not there that early, we’d wait until a little later in the afternoon!
