Nice video! Our family has three seasonal passes and I have a preferred pass for the added meal savings. This keeps the total price lower and I buy the meals. Our drive is about 6.5 hours and we visit 4 times a year. The passes have definitely saved us a lot of money. We even purchased passes on a 12+3 month deal once!
We just recently renewed our passes on the same 12+3 deal. Makes them an even better deal! As our family grows I can see us using the same system of one pass for the discounts and cheaper passes to get everyone in the parks.
Yes I am fairly certain you can upgrade your pass and you just pay the difference. I think that the pass still expires at the same time as it did when you bought the original pass though.
Unfortunately, we are not Florida residents, so we are probably not the best source of knowledge for that. However, unless they run a special for Florida residents at some point, I would think that anytime would be the best time to purchase your pass. Especially if you plan on being a repeat customer. If you renew every year you will get a 20 percent discount when renewing.
Hello, thanks for the good data. Question, we live in Ky and plan to come 3-4x during our year. If we plan to stay on site and have to pay the hotel parking fees anyway, and we typically don’t buy a lot of Merch, would it make more sense savings wise just to get the power pass to have the fewer blackout dates? Also, if I get a preferred pass and get my family a lower tier, do I still get the parking perks, and discounts on food and Merch as long as I pay using my pass?
Thanks for watching the video! Based on what you said yes it might be more advantageous to get the power pass. And if you get the preferred pass and everyone else gets the power pass you can still get the perks involved with having the preferred pass you will just have to scan your pass when purchasing food or merchandise.
That’s awesome! You will have to let me know how useful you find the express pass after 4pm. That is the only thing I’m on the fence about with that pass. I want to make sure I get my money’s worth out of it.

Great video!!!
Can i upgrade my season pass If I change my mind?
This is what I’m trying to figure out

@@ParksNPorts thank you for this
No problem, glad to help!
Yes, you can at any time. :)
Are those Seasonal Passes park to park?
Yes, we have the 2 Park Annual Passes, but they also sell a 3 Park Annual Pass as well.
@ Thank you
@patsylouallenjones9270 Of course, I'm glad we could help!
When is the best time to get a florida resident annual pass?

Can the pass holder pay for the tab for a group if others to not have pass.
As long as you make a single purchase then that whole purchase would receive the passholder discount. That is how it has always worked for us.
@@ParksNPorts Thank you
The $100 on Merch & Food what exactly do you mean by that ?
That is what we estimated our spending for 1 day in the parks to be. You can tweak those numbers based on how much you estimate to spend yourself.
The funny thing is every time I go after 4 there is no line
It felt busy the last time we were there but now that you say that I’m going to have to keep tabs on it for a while before upgrading my pass.
I got the primer pass zero blockout dates
Free valet parking
Free prime parking
Express pass after 4m
Free hhn ticket

@@ParksNPorts it’s worth it I do other stuff like go to city walk and hang out and walk around and wait til 4 and ride all the rides
Free valet it would cost you 70
Bucks without the pass
Free hhn ticket cost you 100 +
