The DWS06 plus have been fantastic! I used to feel the car loosing traction at about 65 mph in light rain on the factory Michelins, don’t have any issues at all with conti, they grip and feel like a summer tire
For my BMW 5 series, I just changed from the Runflat(Pirelli) to this one. Everything is very good except one thing. As DWS06+ is too soft compared to the runflat, occasionally I can feel the lateral rolling which gets on my nerves. Do you also feel like this?
I’m not sure the cabin gets more quieter than this tbh! Comfort is the biggest difference no more crashing or thudding over bumps everything feels a a lot more mushy and soft
Hey, what’s up romone? How long are you leasing your BMW ? I am leasing my x3M40i for 3 years 15k miles.. I am on Yokohama summer tires, 20s I would love to do mods like you but I am scared lol.
I leased it for 36 months, I'm roughly 20 months into my lease with 33k miles so far. I am far over my lease but I will do a buyout to avoid lease end costs.
Can’t rotate they are staggered 245/275 and 30k miles from an all season is quite good I barely got 15-20 k from the stock Michelins plus the DWS06 is rated up to 50k miles
@@RAMONEAuto wait, you have the 30i or the M40i? the 30i don't come with staggered setup, right? anyway, you can still 'rotate' them from left to right and right to left even they are staggered, just not front to rear.
Good choice. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them. I had them on my 7 series.
Putting them on my 540 tomorrow. Good review
They are the best daily tires for the money!
Before I got a set put a 2016 Ford Fusion SE, checked many reviews. The car totally rides better and seem to get better gas mileage that Nexen tires.
Now that it's been a few months, what is your comprehensive review? Seems to be a close call between Continental DWS 06 Plus and Michelin AS4

never really noticed it. I just installed my second set of DWS06 exactly a year since this video and I’m loving them
Was it a significant difference in comfort and sound going from stock runflats to non runflats?

@@RAMONEAuto oh nice. So you’re going to buy cool. I have the end of the lease protection on mine. I want an M3 next
I have the same car. How much per tire? Run flat?
Non run flat and about $250 per tire
What exactly the tire size you installed?
245/4520 front
275/40/20 Rear
Do you think they're quieter than bridgestone?
depends! I had stock Michelin latitude run flats and they were loud and hard
Can I put theses on my m40i?
If you have 20 inch wheel yes there’s also several sizes on these tirws
had these before, rode great but did not last, only got 30k miles out of them, make sure you rotate them religiously.

@@MrRichardyc the Msport 30i is a staggered setup like mine has
