I’ve been running these tires for years. Currently driving a 2018 S550 with PP1. First three years as an everyday driver in North Jersey, including snow and ice conditions. Most recent two years in North Texas - different driving conditions, very occasional light snow and ice. Note: the road department does nothing to clear the roads after a winter storm. No ploughing or salting. Due to the aggressive negative camber setting on the PP1, the front tires were extremely worn on the inside by 50,000 miles. Staggered setup, cannot rotate tires. Thought about “Summer Only” tires but decided to stick with the Conti DWS06 Plus as I occasionally drive back to Jersey. Overall l think it would be hard to beat the DWS06 as an everyday tire. Good luck with the Alfa 🤠
Awesome man. I ordered mine the other day and the current rebate makes them pretty cost-effective as well. My size is backordered for a month but I can't wait to get them on.
I recently put Continental DWS 06 Plus on my 2015 Mustang Ecoboost and couldn’t be happier. Unlike the Pirelli P Zero tires, I have had no slipping so far. Even when new, the Pirellis would let go and you would be sideways. Thanks for the video recommending these tires- outstanding. In addition, the Contis have a tread wear guideline. Pirellis were pretty much done after 30 thousand kilometres.
Hey man, thanks for all the content you've put out about this car. I sold my G80 a couple of days ago and figured I'd give the Giulia a try. It's been dope!!! if this ownership experience goes well, I'll get a quad next. Just wish I could've gotten this competizione in Green though.
I have these Contis on my IS500. We don't get much snow and there's not much need for a true snow tire. Great to hear your Alfa performs well with them
I have these tire on my 2018 giulia qv. I find they are a great tire for most conditions, but I wouldn’t have too much confidence in them on slushy or icy roads. Then again I lean more on the conservative side because unfortunately I don’t have the option to not go to work in poor weather. Resultantly, I run these tires spring through fall and I will be switching to the pilot alpins in a few days for this winter… not sure how/if Id change up my tire choices if my work changed. Gorgeous car! Im jealous of your rosso competitizone paint, mine has the alfa rosso and I wish i had your color!
I'm in the south so I don't really need to worry about snow but these are the tires I run in my daily. It's a focus st and they run great my dad also runs them on his X6m. I'm a huge fan of Continental!
I put this tire on all 3 of my cars. I had experience with the original version and can say this version is an improvement, with less squishiness in the steering. It's a great tire. Not quite as sharp as it's Michelin A/S rival in the steering response, but close, and more comfortable too.
@autofanaticcars My experience with this tire: on my wife's Lexus ES330; much better overall than the Bridgestone Turanzas it replaced. On my mk6 Golf-R; very close in steering response to the Michelin Pilot Sport 3 A/S it replaced, and not as harsh. On my '23 Lexus IS-350 F-SPORT RWD, I replaced the Bridgestone S001L assymetrical summer tires (so I can drive the car in cold weather/light snow) and gave up some steering response and maybe a bit of grip, but not much of either. I'm very satisfied.
I run these on my e92 m3, and also ran them on my 330i zhp. Overall great experience. Very good treadwear - I got around 25k miles on the rear tires before needing to replace them. They are a bit soft but that can be fixed adding a little more pressure.
I live in Los Angeles and the coldest temperature was around 32F thirty years ago. I am planning to buy a new QV car and will probably never drive it in the snow. I drove my Alfetta Sedans in the snow when I went to ski in the mountains. I had to use snow chains in order to drive in the snow.
@@autofanaticcars I have ST sport springs and just running a 8mm spacer in the front. I have noticed that they don't fill out the arches as much as when I had my super sports but I kind of like the sleeker profile on them.
Great review. I switched too these tires as well for the winter over my Michelin PS4S summer tires. They are a great option for colder temperatures and to be safe in light snow.
I have the 06+ on my Stelvio Q4 Sport Ti 20" and Audi A4 Quattro 2.0 17", superb performance, sidewall aesthetic appearance spot on. There's minor background hum, not intrusive, but reassuring the tread is working for you..
Hey Phil wow man not only was I looking at that Bauer vacuum before you made that video, but I was also looking at this EXACT tire for my F32! Man great minds think alike 😂. Heard they do good in the snow from BMW forums.
I definitely think this is the best high performance tire you can get now. Continental went after Michelin and now i think they beat them in this category finally
Nice tire option! I'm running the vredestein hypertrac on my Stinger GT and they have been fantastic. Tried for the Michelin's about a year ago but they were out of stock for my size so I went with vredestein instead and have been very happy with them.
Thanks for this. Curious if you have some insights on how these perform in the rain vs a UHP summer tire? I was driving on Michelin Super Sports the other day in 50 degree weather and it was unsettling. But that PSS probably isn't great in the rain even in warm weather. Thinking about going with these year round and just keeping a track set of PZero Corsas in the garage.
I was gonna try them on my ats v but I was afraid they might be a little noisy, so I went with the regular 4s Michelin's which seem to ride better and are a little quieter than the original Michelin super sports the car came with. Thanks for your views on the all seasons.
Hey Phil - Would you think it would be ok to bring this tire to the track? I am debating about having 2 sets of tires of just one "all season" tire that I could from time to time take to the track. I am still novice at the track, so no plans to do anything crazy in the track
Hi! Regarding the ”stretch” isn’t down to that rim protection ring most tires come with now? What solution have u come up with regarding the dreaded theft issue thru the front radar? I have my own thinking around this that I’m obviously not gonna publish here…
I’ve got the Michelins all seasons on my quad and I’m very happy with them. Good to know that these Contis are also good, so we now have options.

Do you run the standard PP1 tire sizes?
Just got a new 2023 QV in Vulcano last week. Ordered the Continental's also and they should be arriving soon. After your review, happy I chose them.
Awesome and congrats youll love the car and these tires

What tire sizes are you running in this video? Are these wheels 8.5x19" in the front and 10x19" in the rear?
Original wheels and oem tire sizes The Continental are physically smaller for some reason giving the stretch sidewall look
Dang you fast! I got them on mine and was gonna give it one more week before emailing you HAHAH I love mine!
Nice how do you feel about smaller physical size and stretch look that’s really my only complaint

Enjoy it the Quad is a huge leap all around so hope you eventually get one. These cars are fun where as the G80 is almost mundane daily
Always between these and the Michelin pilot sport as 4 but I’m running the Michelin currently and love them.

Yep depending on the car the steering between this and AS 4 is splitting hairs on good sport sedans i feel on the Alfa they feel excellent

DWS Plus works great on my BMW G30. Absolutely perfect.
I think it look great!

I run these tires too and they’re amazing. They also look very sporty and less chunky than the super sports I had for summer.
Is your car lowered with spacers? I prefer the Corsa or Pilots as they fill out arches better when lowered

Yes they are! Enjoy them but best part is car still feels stiff and sporty and on winter tires you really loose that feeling
@@autofanaticcars correct, I still wanted the road connection like my summer tires. This is a great compromise tire.

On my Stelvio these tires rock my only complaint is stretch look on my Giulia
Getting a set installed on my '17 Giulia Q4 this weekend replacing the Pirelli runflats, should be a nice upgrade
the run flats are horrible on any car wait until you get these mounted the car is going to feel so much smoother and better to drive.

I like Continentals and in the summer I used Continental Sport Contact 7 the last 2 summers...
The Conti 7 come in oem sizes for QV? Conti has really caught up to Michelin in these performance tire categories
Thanks for the video. Looking to get new tires for my 21 QV. What are your thoughts about using these all year round?
Amazing all year tire unless your tracking or doing serious backroads you wont notice any loss from oem corsa
Awesome, thanks for the reply
Had these on my Nissan maxima. Different car but they lasted less than 2 years. Was great the first year but quickly loss tread.

These tires are incredible in the rain. Super Sports not so much but the Pilot Sport 4S summer tire is good in the rain.
What if you go slightly wider on the tires, to help with the narrow look ? Appreciate the vid 👍🏽.
Not sure if that would bd too big going 295
Have you tried the michelin pilot 4s all season tires ? They get good reviews. Not sure if they make them in the size you need though.
had then on my 19 Stelvio and liked them but were noisy and rough, had them on my G80 M3 and hated them for some reason
I was gonna try them on my ats v but I was afraid they might be a little noisy, so I went with the regular 4s Michelin's which seem to ride better and are a little quieter than the original Michelin super sports the car came with. Thanks for your views on the all seasons.

I would not track these on any higher hp car I just don’t think they will last very long it’s not designed for that

If they want to steal the car they easily can these days with a gun. I could care less thats why we pay so much money for insurance these days
