This is very informative! I love learning as much as I can about film making. RUclips is a fantastic resource to do that. YAH TECHNOLOGY.

Look at how much cinematography has changed even since this video was made. I can't wait to see what the next few years will bring. And how many 10-year-olds shoot and edit video now? Nearly every kid, it seems, is uploading videos to RUclips. It's going to be so hard for cinematographers to find work, with as many great ones as there will be.

I like his last statement here about cinematography becoming an art NOW as opposed to when only a few had their hands on cameras 50 years ago. I don't remember who said it, but someone said, "movie's won't be an artform until the tools become as cheap as pencils." Or something to that effect.

+Alin Cristian Militaru - Ok, so you somehow feel threatened by this guy's expertise and enthusiasm (and his lifestyle). Therapy and medication might help. They can do wonderful things these days. You could learn humility and respect for others. This guy is cool, approachable and extremely good at what he does. What's your claim to fame?

When you see the shot, where is your attention drawn to? The subject who is speaking? Or the clutter in the background? And, why is that? Perhaps the focus, framing and lighting are completely wrong?
