Inspiring!!! We're entering for the first time in this year's Nevada Open Road Challenge. 110 class is as high as they let us go for the first time out, so we'll be running my '67 Charger.
@brianelliot Yeah I agree. You have to work your way up through the brackets. Dont forget about navigating to arrive on the other end within a small fraction of a second of the target time.
@dewy002 Well to even be in the 180+ and unlimited class you either need a waiver from sscc or need to have completed a 165+ event already. Dunno if you've ever done 180+, dude, but shit gets reeeeeal hairy once you start gettin up around 2-hundos.
200 mph is equal to 9.7 ft. per 1/30 frame rate. The segmented stripes can be from 10 to 16 ft. with 20 to 30 ft. spacing. It all depending on where you are and what year the striping was laid down.

Once hit a pigeon at 150 - on a motorbike. It hit the crown of my helmet & almost knocked me out. I stopped right after, had 3 Marlboro & went home at about 55. But I think a rabbit vs a car at 200 mph COULD be survivable.

I live in Nevada, do lots of driving...there's a lot of animals out there..I'd hate to see what a jack rabbit, or deer would do at that speed.

I went 130 in a Plymouth Arrow many years ago, pretty sketchy! Tires were not rated for it

i hit a bird right quare in my visor (thankfully it was down) at only 50mph and it pushed my head back so hard it almost threw me off the bike.
