Hi Justin, I just lay on the deck chair and close my eyes. I let the music carry me. More gold for the soul. Thank you for sharing your talent and passion with us it is truely appreciated.
Heavy "Paris, Texas" vibes. Lost in the lonesome American landscape blues. I hitchhiked around the states for about a year in 2015. This music brings back visions from that journey.
I first went to Texas on my thumb, and left with a future wife in a stolen Chevy SS. The statute of limitations has since run out on both. Memories of '71.
Ahhh the third instrument took me back 59 years ago when I got to listen to my dad on his steel guitar before losing him in an accident. Thank you Justin!
If I died Tomorrow... Well it would be ok.. because I would be smiling.. listening to your beautiful music. Wow You never cease to amaze me with your talent. Thank you.
Eleven months ago „@ezradaniel458“ had posted, that „This guy was touched by the hands of GOD“. „His soulexpression takes you to another dimension.“ There is actually nothing more to add to these words of respect. But I would like to add a few words of my own as a tribute to Justin Johnson: I am 67 years old, and, as a music lover, I especially loved the rock- and blues - ballads of the bands in the 60s and 70s. This is where my love for soul- and blues music developed. There were and are many famous blues guitarists, like John Lee Hooker, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Peter Green, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, …! But Justin Johnson surpasses them all, because he plays the Blues from his deepest heart and soul. Justin, you have been sent to earth by God, to play your spectacular Delta Blues Guitar, to connect people´s souls together. It seems to me, as if your hands are being guided by angels. Thank You for your incredible and fantastic Blues Guitar Play, that I will love for the rest of my life. God bless You. Kind regards from Stuttgart, Germany.
I don't know from what universe you are able to channel these melodic melodies from but every one of your songs brings a calming peace to my brain that is entrancing. For me, David Gilmore comes to mind as another guitarist that does this for me. Every one of your songs are just amazing! Thank you for such brilliant creations!
Your music has helped me in more ways than I can explain...not a day without listening to your tunes...you do so much more than just play an instrument...you make em speak in ways that reach me when words can't...thank you
I love the instruments, and they're all played masterfully! If I'm ever called upon to become a gunslinger or wander a post-apocalyptic wasteland, I now have a soundtrack. 🤠
I open another tab with some rain playing and close my eyes. Instantly I'm on the ranch, sitting on the porch, gazing out at the rainy desert with mountains in the distance. A glass of whiskey rests in my hand as I rock gently in the chair.
Takes me to a dark foggy forest.... Thank you for a hours worth of your talent...I'll listen on those nights I can't sleep or just relaxing on the porch at dusk....

I am a metal guy for days.... but ive started playing blues because of you. I bought a project super strat because of you. I LOVE THE FREAKING CLOCK DUDE!!!! I used to have one in the early 2000s.
This compilation is so soothing that oftentimes when I put it on to fall asleep to, I’m gone before the second song even ends. I’m convinced that the best way to listen is turned so low it’s almost imperceptible, so the sound can wind it’s way through my dreams like a tendril of smoke on the wind. Someday, I will own your entire discography on CD.
I get such cool ideas for instruments from this channel. Ammo box, shovel and now this beautiful carved lap slide. I can't wait for summer to get busy building stuff again. I already have too many guitars, basses, mandolins, banjos and dulcimers. My wife hates how much wall and floor space it takes to keep them handy, but this is just too cool to pass up. Too much fun and with a slide guitar you don't have all the painful fret and nut work to do, just get the scale correct. Ah, life is wonderful, and my wife still loves me and to listen, so I'm good...
There is a guitar soul/spirit at work here. It inspires me to find it. I close my eyes late at night playing, trying to finding that connection. My wife says, “It sounds so dark.” Find the darkness then move towards the light?” Otherwise, I am just another dime a dozen guitar player. I am old, so time is ticking down.
Yup, I looked at him and sure as heck did not get the impression I did when I heard him start talking about music theory. It was a freakin master class. I guess I should have anticipated that. Deep, high level, schooling, as well, self or institutional. Actually, both, you learn the basics, and then, if you are this guy, you get busy. I love his guitar builds, too. Have you heard him on a single string? Insane.
Goodness gracious, imagine Tom Waits singing to some of these? Or, even do a narration to something, with this in the background. Justin always makes me get inspired, then wanna go and pick up my acoustic, play for about 2 minutes, come back and listen to the rest of his stuff, because there’s no way I could match his talent.
To anyone who is reading this right now, i love you and so do many others. You have nothing to worry about, take a breath and appreciate the good things about this world. Everything is and will be okay, you’ve got this and i love you
Thank you for sharing your soulful music with us,i just found out about your music and you are my new favorite guitarist and you are the 1st blues music I found while looking for guitar tabs to learn because I cannot play a lick to save my life.

Let me tell you…. This man is a master of his craft. A legend in the making. This not only takes skill, but something in your blood. Your very DNA. -I’m not a very religious person; in the layman’s eye. But I can tell you that music like this makes me believe! I travel almost every day. Many miles. A remnant of the door-to-door salesman. We have now become a company slut. But if I have music like this, after a long day on the road. Talking to, too many people; in a room made for budget and not comfort. Sitting on a king-size bed knowing that I just need one side of the electric blanket switched on, then the realization kicks in; -it gets lonely. But it’s the kind of lonely that music like this makes into a painting. Thank you.
You really are amazing , bro. I don’t know your work aside from these videos but i’m gonna look into it. As a still half-assed guitar player, i’m insanely jealous of ur room full of equipment but I know it’ll be another couple decades b4 I could hope to use it to the effect that you so naturally, and humbly, do. This is music that I can’t imagine anybody not enjoying and relating to.Everybody knows the blues, but your take on it is uniquely beautiful and moving. Thank you so much.👍🏻🤟🏻… you are a guitar 🥷🏿.
Here cause of my anxiety, this is the one track that help me get over it, I hope everyone gets over their problems. Take a deep breath, it will be over soon
I pray for anyone reading this right now, may you achieve everything you want, God be with you. And I hope this channel never ends and continues to spread happiness and this wonderful genre of relaxing music
My favorite lapsteel that you have, that tone!!!! Really set the mood, sitting on the deck with a cigar and a drink with a slight smile on my face🍻Justin and thank you once again for making the day that much better!!!!❤️❤️😎🤘🍻
No kidding. I just made a cup of coffee, and I'm getting ready to sit down and start school work. I wanted some good music to listen to while I worked, and then I saw your notification. Perfect timing! And I love the dark blues.
Late, one Autumnal night, a ragged and wind blown man, strode, with an air of unnatural confidence, along a dirt track at the edge of the forest, leaves whipping his ankles. Somewhere, deep within that dark and lonesome place, a howl, of curious quality and unusual resonance, began it's eerie journey, between the moonlit twigs and cloud hidden branches, to wrap itself, in an affectionate gesture of recognition and respect, around our stranger with the curious gait, the hearing of which, caused a flicker of something approaching appreciation, to dance, briefly, across his stern, but otherwise, expressionless face.
Morning, i just came across this video and after smoking a big fatty and sipping glass of wine, you sir was exactly what my mind and soul needled... Thank you for crossing my path,

As a wolf howls into the night under a full moon.
As Death approaches
Light & Sound bring new life.

I am a metal guy for days.... but ive started playing blues because of you. I bought a project super strat because of you. I LOVE THE FREAKING CLOCK DUDE!!!! I used to have one in the early 2000s.
I could listen to this 24/,7 365 and never get tird of it !!!like the sound of that instrument and never seen one before
I can imagine angels preening their feathers to these strings on a quiet "after the Apocalypse" kind of day.
Beautiful analogy 👌!!!
Angels don't have wings
@@stephenpridgeon7025 Imagine the feathers as independent acts of agape love. Each one a prism of rainbow light.
There is not enough dark music for how far I want to escape. Thank you tho. Always special to listen to your magical playing.
He doesn't just play blues, he has become blues.
Let's not get carried away. I pray that was sarcasm or we are doomed.
Agreed...100%!!! InDEED....COTU GOD REN BIRD Approved!
He is become blues, player of music.
He in Bluesy-E... But I would label this, something other than "Blues"
@@Santamonicajeff first track was unique-- but tuning to E and play are above standard tuning-
one can only imagine the amount of dedication to get to this level
Hours & Hours
@@Docsjeff yes, many hours. Lol.
Amen. God bless the man for following his personal way.
Insane.
One with the instrument, absolutely brilliant. I enjoyed this more than anyone can understand even myself.
This man should play music for every western game out there! Wonderful sound an deep feeling 🖤 I dig it
maybe it already does
Red dead redemption vibes
I didn’t know how much I needed this in my life.
So glad you started with “voices from the attic”. Love the sound and melody in that song!
wow bro, what a master at work. Im sure you inspire many musicians to get better
ive been gigging for over 40 years and i know awesome when i see it, and this Sir is that.
To anyone who is reading this right now, i love you and so do many others. You have nothing to worry about, take a breath and appreciate the good things about this world. Everything is and will be okay, you’ve got this and i love you
Przy Twojej muzyce nawet Bóg przystaje i uśmiechnięty słucha...
Justin is a mesmerizing player. Excellent.
Hello Susan..
Thank you for sharing your soulful music with us,i just found out about your music and you are my new favorite guitarist and you are the 1st blues music I found while looking for guitar tabs to learn because I cannot play a lick to save my life.
Artists and Musicians should NEVER be taxed....... a gift to humanity.....given freely, soothes the beast....reduces violence among us....much better than medication.....
QUALITY MAN............THATS THE BEST you are listening to I am 63 years old.
Thank you.
Love the Sultry Sensual Southern vibes. Deep music. Justin is most unique and majical being. The gift he shares is profound.💗💗💗
Simply amazing. I listen to this with the sound of rain and I am transported away from earth
JJ you are the king of guitar performance in the world
I see your soul vibe in the air
Thanks
🙏💜
No kidding. I just made a cup of coffee, and I'm getting ready to sit down and start school work. I wanted some good music to listen to while I worked, and then I saw your notification. Perfect timing! And I love the dark blues.
In this silence, your music spoke .
Beautiful..like the sun and the moon dancing for God in gratitude 🙏
Justin, you are nothing short of amazing.
Love that first instrument sounds. Great job. Had some red wine and zoned out buddy. You are talented beyond anyone.
Justin, for almost a year...I still listen to these tracks. Thank you
Funny. I just returned to this video today after putting it on a playlist just after it released
Morning, i just came across this video and after smoking a big fatty and sipping glass of wine, you sir was exactly what my mind and soul needled...
Thank you for crossing my path,
Thank you and god bless peace and love
Listening the 2nd song (dark solace) with black coffee in my hand... chill running down my spine. Love it.
Noooossaaa... Idem rs
Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I have CPTSD and I listen to your music often at bedtime. Your slide tone helps me relax and get comfortable. I am very grateful!
