Dr. Jon Bailey On Ethics & Preventing Exploitation in ABA

  • At the 2017 Ethics in Leadership Summit, Dr. Jon Bailey describes how supervisors can exploit employees by not maintaining ethical conduct.
    Dr. Jon Bailey is a Professor of Psychology at Florida State University where he teaches graduate courses for behavior analysts in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis, Research Methods, Ethics, and Performance Management. Dr. Bailey is a founding director of the international Behavior Analysis Certification Board® and he is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst®. In 2005, Dr. Bailey received the Distinguished Service to Behavior Analysis Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis. He is the co-author of the books How Dogs Learn, Ethics for Behavior Analysts, and Research Methods in Applied Behavior Analysis. Dr. Bailey has given major addresses at conferences throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe.
    Brett DiNovi is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst & the founder & CEO of the largest award winning behavioral consultation group of its kind on the East Coast of the United States which deploys over 300 consultants throughout NJ, PA, NY, DE, & worldwide through the use of remote video consultation.     Huge respect for Jon Bailey! First saw him at ABAI in Minneapolis and often refer to that presentation to this day.

    I love Jon Bailey, I have listened to his podcast on ethics of the Behavioral Observations channel. I am truly blessed to work for BDA where it is apparent that quality is the #1 priority!!

    Currently watching a training vid with Dr Jon. Great presentation! I hope to meet you one day at a conference and learn more about ethics
