Just go to Jamesons' crashed cobra and get all the data you need and what you are missing you just crosstrade, you literally just need to be sitting there logging in and out and scan 4 spots for 10 minutes to get filled up on data
I did it 5 separate times. Filled up, swapped data, went back, filled up, swapped data. Took about 2 hours with me blowing myself up after filling up each time. I no longer have to worry about these types of materials now.
Interesting as I have the system permit. However... I feel it would be easier to just go to the Jameson crash site. Fill up with materials there, & trade them for what u need. Much easier. Cheers
If you want to find easy G4/G5 data, try Jameson's crashed cobra site in the HIP 12099 system on planet 1B, coordinates -54.3803, -50.3575. It has 4 scan points that give G4/G5 data with each scan. Once you are full, then head over to a data trader and trade across. There are loads of YT videos on it. I'm guessing you probably already know this and just want to do it the hard way for fun! Good luck
He'll definitely know this my friend. That's how most of us top up our data including yourself. It is good to see it done in a less lazy way though. Great video
Hi@@bez750 , I agree, most of us use Jameson's, me included. Sometimes I try to get data from T9 famine relief ships at distribution centres but it can be difficult to find systems in famine. Meanwhile, it's back to the money grind at Borann for me. Almost got my 5 billion saved for my nice brand new shiny fleet carrier! I expect it will take another 5 billion just to kit it out. Looking forward to landing my whole fleet of explondas, mineacondas and murdercondas on it! Going to take her out for a long range exploration/mining trip when she's ready. Cheers buddy and take care

18 months later and delta Squadron appear to have taken over everything. But it is still possible to rep up, just more slowly. Just run courier and combat missions for the Isinor Chapter faction. A lot slower, but doable if you want that permit
SHow us your ASP build, Sepulcher Geist! I'm a greenhorn explorer, doing my first Colonia run and I followed your guides. I wanna see how can I get the ASP to be even nicer.
I was intending to show it in a video when I was done with it. It's still a work in progress, and isn't intended to be pure Jump Range potential. @@canaldoxerxes the great thing about explorer builds is that beyond jump range (and unless your either really far above or below the galacic plane, or very far out on the very edges of the galaxy, you only really need ~40LY or so), it's season to personal taste; Sepulcher's build is just as viable and valid as mine!
@@crackensvideo i liked yours a lot man. I currently have a long range explorer, works great. However, I've been thinking on creating a medium to long range mining ship. If the asp can't cut it, at least it'll help me prospect new pristine mining spots.
As stated in another comment Delta Squadron has control of everything so I had spend a lot of time doing courier/data/information runs to get Allied. Alas when I finally got permit and got beacon all 3 ships gave me nothing at all. When each was targeted I am not even sure they were scanned. The info on them said they are a wing of 3. I logged in/out of both Odyssey and Horizons for over an hour... I might give it another shot when I have time this time leaving beacon relogging and then returning to beacon but this seems like even more a of grind. If I do I will let you know the results.
About the welcome sign being upside down above the mail slot, yes that bothers me. It was one of the first things I noticed about the game that I would change given I were king of the universe.

You become a Petty Officer in the Federation. That means doing Federation missions for factions that have the federation symbol next to them in the missions page, until you get enough experience with them they offer "Navy" contract missions that pop up randomly. Doing these increase your rank. Once you're Petty Officer or higher, you can visit Sol. It isn't too hard to do, especially if you're willing to go to Ceos and Sothis.
