The South Carolina floor plan is the perfect example of picking a plan and making it your own. Beginning with our North Carolina floor plan, these homeowners wanted customization and their personal touch in their dream home. With many specific features, this home quickly became a rustic place that is great for entertaining no matter where you are at within.
Let's touch on the lower level walkout basement. The large windows and patio doors welcome natural light into this cozy space that looks out to the acres surrounding this estate. The features don't stop there, this level has numerous rooms that fit the couple's interests; a wine cellar, game room, wet bar and a wood burning stove. You will also notice sentimental aspects within the entire home, the twisted log beams were from the home owner's very own land.
This custom log home, which has been featured on HGTV, has it all! A number of the amenities include: an octagonal dining room, an open kitchen & great room area, a four-season porch plus a fabulous master bedroom suite. If you choose to finish the lower (basement) level, there is plenty of space for a third bedroom, a family room, a game room and/or a wine room. This breathtaking home is available in log, custom timber or hybrid. It is often built with a walk-out wall in the basement along with a two to four stall attached garage.

I love the custom "conversation" elements; ie the curved railing leading downstairs to the lower level; as well as the large arched wood pillars framing both sides of the master bathroom soaking tub. Great job!

This same exact plan will be the one, just exactly like this, in every way maybe more and deeper covered porches, but that's it, love everything about this plan, same decor, but maybe 3000 square ft instead of 2310, but this is definitely a HUGE, 2310, no doubt, gorgeous home and layout, I want this in a 3000 sq ft, if its possible, thank you folks for these episodes, just became a subscriber and I'm sold, love that your company is so well established, and all your designs are all quality, along with all your products and materials, this is quiet exceptional, continued success, God Bless

We're moving back to Colorado in two weeks. We'll be building with you guys once we secure our lot. We've had our realtor looking already for us, and hope to secure it quickly. We've been in contact with Justin. I've watched almost all of your videos and have found them incredibly helpful. Would you mind doing a video series of either a real couple, or Zach walking through the actual process of when a couple arrives in Wisconsin to move forward with making selections, etc. For example: how many days should be scheduled during this trip to be as productive as possible; especially when traveling from out-of-state? Is Day 1 spent walking through your model, and then looking at our designed plans to make sure it flows as expected; especially after seeing in person the model as a jumping off point. Then, maybe show a couple actually looking at the various exterior/interior log species, cuts, sizes, and stains. This way is helps a viewer like us, or anyone else long-distance to have a virtual perspective of the options, vs what we've seen in some of the homes you've beautifully showcased. Then, a video that shows the different interior selections: ie maybe dedicated to just bathroom and sink finishes. Do you have "all" of the finish selections (ie sinks, faucets, tiles, fireplace stones, etc) all right there? Maybe having separate videos that focus on each of those selections; and how your team maps out, or has scheduled this process for the client. I've watched the video series you did when Zach built his home, and when he walked through a few of his selections. It would be nice to spend more time on the actual process for a client, from day one when they arrive at your headquarters, and start the process, and again, what that day-to-day schedule looks like there. How much time dedicated to sit down with your team to design the i.e. kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, the basement level bar/kitchen design, and landscape/hardscape design. Similar look and feel until maybe around 14,000 square foot then they are definitely more lodge like.

When it's my time I am doing this exact house no wine room it will be my drum studio. I wonder if Golden eagle would be able to sound proof a whole room to make it a fully functional recording studio. Any way, I have a whole windows theme dedicated to this home and Golden Eagle when it is my time soon they will be the one I go with. I just hope I can find the right lot to build on in NC.

Gorgeous. What brand are those kitchen cabinets or are they totally custom? That rustic (alder? maple?) wood works beautifully with the cabinet door profile in this log home.
They are Rustic Alder, toffee color, with a brown glaze. They are built by Bertch cabinets.

absolutely gorgeous.this would be my dream home I'd never be able to afford unless I became rich quick. I'd have a black metal roof to accent the wood.I love the stone throughout as well but the mantel beam for fireplace needs to be wider because I go all out for Christmas to my mantel. I'd want walk in pantry for kitchen and walk in freezer because my husband is a hunter and all his wild game. that extra living room eith little heater is wasted spaces I'd make it a four seasons room with Jacuzzi and wine bar.I'd also have a massage therapy room because I'm a massage therapist and I'd love to relax hire a therapist to massage me but I'd do my family and friends when they come over if I want to.the downstairs room will be my husband man cave.I'd have the doors open up so that way he will have access to a custom built pole barn when he walkd out.it will have a huge walk in freezer and stainless steel island with all equipment to break down his wild game and make sausages and jerky.it will also have in the freezer hooks to hold up the deer or animal he killed so he can chop up.it will also have a drain so when he sprays/power washes it with water to make sure all the blood is out. it will be like a beautiful state of the art custom built pole barn specifically for him.

OK so the overall house is nice I like the kitchen and the living room I like the field except for the second bedroom it seemed a little tight for me with the bathroom right in front of the bed and then I would’ve just had like a soaking tub instead of one of those built-in type tubs because it it makes the bathroom crowded just my point of you and I like the porch area except there’s just too many pieces which makes it crowded and mayor but otherwise it was a nice place
