Nice video. I truly love my Beluga, So budget friendly for Canadians. Thanks for the links, I just ordered the servo for 5.99 on sale!!!!!!!! I'll eventually get heavier wheels and softer tires, but I'm still very impressed with how it performs as is.
Love this crawler but can't stand the rx so I replaced it with a radiolink R8FG and use the RC8X tx. Way better control now. Had to replace the stock lights though as they are 4 wire lights that were built with the specific rx in mind. Upgraded the wheels and tires as well. Thinking about putting fog lighs on the bumper too. Great video.
Nice video mate and upgrades mate. Those wheels look awesome! I bought one of these for my daugter. Had to replace all wheel hexes as they are cheap plastic and stripped out. I would recommend replacing the the front portal box as well. Hers broke where the steerng arm mounts to it
Cool mods, I saw somewhere that the wheel hexes were plastic and prone to stripping. Probably should just swap them for brass hexes too. liked and subbed!
Hello there! I also have the Beluga and also made some upgrades and I love this car very much to the point that I plan to buy another one and convert it to a rally/off road car. Since the second gear of the stock gearing is already fast for a crawler, I was thinking if upgrading to a brushless motor but retaining the stock esc and gearing can improve the quickness of this car. What do you think sir .
The stock ESC, which is an unbranded QUICRUN 1060, only works with brushed motors. Easy way to make it faster is by using 3S LiPo battery, which gives you a higher voltage, since the stock battery is only 2S and it'll work with the stock ESC. You can get a faster brushed motor (with lower turns) or a bigger pinion gear. Keep in mind that doing either of these will draw more amps so the ESC and motor will heat up more. Going higher voltage is usually better when you want to go faster. If you really want to go brushless, you'll need to replace the ESC as well.
Actually, my servo horn hits the frame, so had to slide it away from the servo a bit plus sanding the extra metal to clear it. Even then, the servo horn hits the steering linkage. That said, it doesn't seem to loose much steering compared to the other side.
Consigue tubo de aluminio de 39mm ext, y pared 1,5mm cortas 10mm y ya tienes arandela, y ademas sirve para refrigerar el motor al ser aluminio. Espero haberme explicado bien...

What lights did you get?
@@Stevevanhove1982 I got the Globact light kit for the Traxxas TRX4 2021 bronco from Amazon. Works great.

Thanks, did you replace them with metal ones?
very nice, those are exactly three things on this model that I will do, thank you

Great stuff. I fried my stock servo the first day but got a replacement. How did you set up the end points? I want to adjust mine
You can't with the stock radio. I use a shorter servo horn (which came with the new servo) and it slightly reduced the steering.

I wonder if you gt the trx4 aluminum bottom for that motor mount if it would work.
Man. I'm having a hard time adding weight as well. I haven't found weights that will fit. I got outer weights but it doesn't fit.
Can you please give us a link to the servo you used? Thanks in advance
Servo is DS3230 Pro-180 and got it from www.aliexpress.com/item/1943129663.html
Can also get it from Amazon but costs more: a.co/d/hBWomY5
@@ronnbot thanks so much
Did you have an issue with the horn hitting everything. It doesn’t clear the suspension links, and hits the axles at max angle.

Were you able to use the stock wheel nut?
