That was probably a small oil leak burning off the headers. It's a fresh engine, 460, .060" over, runs good, no smoke: ruclips.net/video/fScaeeiPqAs/видео.html
From under the car, not from behind it. I can't remember, for sure, video is years old but that car might have had a leak at the rear of the intake or one of the valve covers, after the oil drops onto a header, the wind takes the smoke where the wind was going. Again, here's a view of the rear of the car, you'd certainly see smoke coming from behind the car in this video, if there was smoke: ruclips.net/video/fScaeeiPqAs/видео.html
Yeah, all those old British roadsters look pretty much the same. Mine is a Sunbeam Alpine, I've got a couple of them. The Red one is a '67. Maxwell Smart drove one in the 60s tv show Get Smart. His main car was a Sunbeam Tiger, the V8 version (powered by Ford), but the V8 didn't allow for a machine gun, so when the machine gun comes out the hood, that's the Sunbeam Alpine they used for the show, with it's four cylinder engine, the two cars look the same. It seemed to be coming from behind the car though

Here's my smoking car, this engine lost a con rod, about a year after making this video: ruclips.net/video/q7fo7d6UnmU/видео.html
Looks like an Austin Healy. I don't know if I spells that right.
