They experience monsoon in Oman. They have alluvial soil , which is excellent for agriculture. The Hajar mountains serve as backbone for Oman. They also make pottery and wooden chests, they have great craftsman. They use silver to make swords and knives. Some areas are geological , Oman are filled with caves , carved out by nature. They have cave museums. The arid mountains, high plateaus, but animals adapt, like long head goats. The wadis slice through the mountain. Gulf of Oman is an advantageous situation that attracts shipping and trade. They make teak boats, are made with intricate craftsmanship. Under the relentless sun the trees growth are reduced. The canal provides irrigation.

The frankincense tree is grown in the Dhofar dry area. To obtain frankincense, they cut bark, then allow resin to dry, after which it's collected. As if on parade the camel marches on, and no matter what the creature never lose it's nonchalance.

The desert the imperceptible but very real movement of the sand, the desert. The desert inspires man, it reminds man he's very small in relationship to nature.
