Wonderful video. I have always had an interest in the Middle East. Chicago has a large Lebanese- American population. Many entertainers are of Lebanese descent, namely Jamie Farr, Danny Thomas, Kathy Najimy, etc.

There is no loyalty to the State, it’s to Iran, Saudi Arabia, France etc not to Lebanon. War, Terrorism and corruption is the business in Lebanon and that is the fault of the people.
Even now after the Lebanese people have been robbed, had half of Beirut destroyed, hundreds killed and thousands injured and destitute the people voted for the murdering thieves.

And Israel wasn't a problem before Lebanon started taking Muslim refugees from Palestine, shifting the demographics and bringing extremism. It was ISLAM that destroyed Lebanon. But the country did it to itself, because they had to be sympathetic towards Palestinian Muslims. Now they are paying the price. The sad part is, that Europe has not learned from what happened to Lebanon.

This is a very picturesque and enticing video of Lebanon, however.... when I checked travel advisories from several Western countries, they advise AGAINST travel to Lebanon due to "increase in violence, terrorism, kidnappings, economic deterioration, petty crime, sexual assaults and more". Their unanimous and detailed warnings are very clear DO NOT TRAVEL TO LEBANON.
I am not an expert, however I want viewers of videos like this to make sure they check with their own government sites before travelling ANTWHERE for their own safety.
I understand that it is a beautiful country, with kind, generous friendly people ( for the most part ) and hope that they will overcome their economic and political problems. I do wish all RUclips bloggers would mention any potential life threatening situations in their videos and/or current areas of unrest before they post these videos.
My son decided we must visit in October. I was actually scared but we saw nothing about all negativity. Infact those we came across seemed to be enjoying life. We felt very safe traveling around.

Beirut downtown was elected as the most beautiful downtown in the world in 2008 surpassing all major metropolitan cities, a New York Times article back in 2009 put Beirut as number one places to visit.
