It's important to know the real reason she took a "break". She wasn't allowed on the show because of some twitter tirades she made about production after WOTW2. Publicly bashing the show and producers left her as a liability so she was blacklisted for years. I think Paulie also piled in at some point so he was blacklisted as well. You could tell that they were doing a soft launch bringing Paulie back for Spies Lies and Allies. If they could "behave" after that season with no twitter tirades they could consider Cara. So they brought Cara back as a champ on BFANC this past season. And I think so long as she doesn't bash them, she will be invited on a new season as a full cast member very soon. And based on what she said in this mini-doc I think it sounds like she's on track for that to happen.
I love her so much. she “became the villain” because she was so deeply bullied for so many years. But the fact that she was able to recognize it and step away to heal is what makes her amazing.

I originally loved Cara's storyline as the bullied underdog who came out of her shell and triumphed. Then she and Paulie became the bullies that everyone hated. Now, I love that while at first, Paulie and Cara brought out the worst in each other, together they've been able to see how toxic they had gotten and are growing out of it together into better people. It will be nice to be rooting for both of them again.

I disagree 100%. Who did they bully? Kyle? Cara had personal beef with him over hum ghosting her after she helped him make it to the end of Vandettas. Josh? He betrayed Paulie and Cara by voting out Wes and helping the alliance that was throwing challenges to get Cara out. I think people weren't used to seeing Cara play a masterful political game. Bananas and Laurel took a shot and missed. Was she supposed to sit back and let them try again or take out that alliance?
It’s crazy that people consider Cara Maria a villain. She’s like the ultimate underdog story. She was freshmeat and became one of not only the best female challengers but challengers period.

Cara Maria has been my favorite since her beginning in the franchise. I love how her story has evolved. She’s done a lot of work on herself and you can definitely tell she’s got a totally new mindset to everything. Can’t wait for her comeback!

I would've have quit with Chet's injury if I was wrestling a friend when i was 16 years old. That was so lame. I could have cuts like that all over my body and I wouldn't quit.
Chet needed stitches. If continued on an open wound it would have caused an infection. I don't blame people when they quit for sustaining an injury to not want to risk putting their body or high medical bills on the line just to continue to play. Hunter has permanent nerve damage because he continued on instead of having his arm be healed. It becomes a gamble if a person continues on even if the injury seems small, it is not small in many cases when not properly treated right away or taken seriously.
Love this episode Cara is one if not the greatest female competitors on the challenge. She went from underdog to champion to villian and I can’t wait to see her and Paulie on the challenge again for her next chapter: Legend!
This was a real redemption for me. I was ALWAYS a Cara Maria fan until War of the Worlds 2 when I thought, and she confirmed, that basically the show got to her. She turned into the mean girl that she basically was always the victim of. I'm glad she stepped away from the show - she seems a LOT happier now that she had some time away. I thought I never wanted to see her back but this video absolutely changed it for me. Cara Maria is an excellent competitor and I sincerely hope she comes back for a full season!!

That was definitely not the only one, but it was still a memorable season that she was on & it’s still part of her Challenge history. They overcame a lot of adversity in that season cause Cara was so disliked that they kept getting thrown into elimination, winning eliminations & then placing 2nd in the final.

Cara is an absolute excellent challenge contender. I’ve been watching her through out the seasons and I love her story and her brave heart. I’m more than excited to see her back and see how much she’s grown and what more she will bring to the table. WE WANT CARA IN SEASON 40 AND MORE, I don’t get tired of seeing her compete! Hate her or love her Cara has always been someone who was real and hardcore. I mean she was the underdog to becoming a top dog. I love Cara even when she pissed me off on later seasons. But at the end I loved seeing her compete and still a fan. She changed and it was not for the worse it was for the best because she found out how strong she was physically and mentally. RESPECT!!!

When Laurel FINALLY stood up for Cara that was a huge moment. I never understood why they hated the girl so bad when she came in lol. That only made me want to see her win even more because you could tell her confidence was low when she came in and she wasn’t really training to prepare. Cara today is not only really fit but she doesn’t hesitate to stand up to anyone anymore and she believes in her abilities. I’m sorry to hear about Garnet, when you grow up with a pet it really becomes a part of the family. Some ppl just don’t understand what it’s like to have a bond with your pet like that.

I absolutely LOVE how much we can see how much Cara and Paulie have grown TOGETHER! I've been a fan of Cara since Fresh Meat II and when War of the Worlds II aired I definitely switched sides away from both Cara and Paulie. Now seeing this, I am 1000000000000% back on team Cara forever and always! 💓
Because people pick and choose what they want to remember, or how they want to see things, for instance in WW2 she was apparently just nasty... thats it. Yeah, sorry thats not how things really went down. I swear, a ton of people must just choose to forget that both Paulie and Cara wanted to play as a team from the very beginning, and it was others on her team, such as Bananas and Laurel who betrayed their own teammates. She literally went over that part in this video, yet look at some of the nay sayers in the comments, they still act like it didn't happen. Its rather ridiculous honestly. Just don't pay those people any attention. Trust me, there are many reasons that Cara is one of the most beloved challengers of all time. Over all tho, it's just because she is a true GOAT 🐐 No matter what anyone says. I mean literally her record speaks for itself. Thats why I can just laugh at others when they say such stupid things. Because she doesn't need anyones approval. The fact that some people think there opinion matters that much is just rather funny, personally. I’m sorry to hear about Garnet, when you grow up with a pet it really becomes a part of the family. Some ppl just don’t understand what it’s like to have a bond with your pet like that.

I absolutely LOVE how much we can see how much Cara and Paulie have grown TOGETHER! I've been a fan of Cara since Fresh Meat II and when War of the Worlds II aired I definitely switched sides away from both Cara and Paulie. Now seeing this, I am 1000000000000% back on team Cara forever and always! 💓
I never understood why she wasn't liked. She has always been one of my favorites.
Because people pick and choose what they want to remember, or how they want to see things, for instance in WW2 she was apparently just nasty... thats it.

I swear, a ton of people must just choose to forget that both Paulie and Cara wanted to play as a team from the very beginning, and it was others on her team, such as Bananas and Laurel who betrayed their own teammates.
She literally went over that part in this video, yet look at some of the nay sayers in the comments, they still act like it didn't happen. Its rather ridiculous honestly. Just don't pay those people any attention.
Trust me, there are many reasons that Cara is one of the most beloved challengers of all time. Over all tho, it's just because she is a true GOAT 🐐

This made me like her now that I understand her journey. I hated her with Pauly and the way they played, but seeing what she endured challenge after challenge, it was almost like she had to be cutthroat to win. The challenge made her a savage. Go Cara.
