CT was the best person to jump this series off. He's largely the most misunderstood character of this franchise but honestly, the most loved; at least in my household. I got my husband stuck on this show and CT is BY FAR his favorite.

If Mtv went back through all of their footage and pieced together a mini series of CT and Diem it would be the most watched series they ever put together. ❤
MTV kind of did. They had a special called 'Fighting Cancer at 29' and 'We Heart Diem,' both on Diem, but also one called 'The Best of CT & Diem' of the both of them.
CT is arguably the best part of the Challenge. Bananas may be the 'king,' so to speak, but many of us have watched CT grow, and go through struggles, as we ourselves have grown and gone through struggles. I'm a 22 year fan and thought baby CT was a troublemaker, but now I love him and respect him like a sibling. I am so proud of his growth over the years and the man that he is today. ❤❤
The day CT officially retires from The Challenge will be both a happy and yet sad day. Happy for his career and him being the People’s Champ yet sad because that’ll be the end of it! Thank you for everything you’ve done CT!
CT is so dang smart. At the end, he mentions that none of the newbies coming up seem to be having much fun. I think that's a major reason why the challenges for the past 5ish years have been so bland and boring. Everyone is just concerned about social media and becoming influencers, and taking the game so seriously. Shows why he's the best.

I literally became a Challenge fan because of CT and Diem. I watched The Duel when it was airing and was hooked. Those two will always be my favorite love story. The smile and sparkle in CT's eyes whenever he talks about Diem breaks my heart. It has been such a joy watching CT's journey and how far he has come throughout the years. Diem is definitely his guardian angel, giving him strength which is why he kept winning Championships even with his dad bod.
CT is a truly genuine person and that’s not something you really see in people much anymore. He’s comfortable in his own skin and it’s hard not to like a guy like that. The guy’s a class act.
Absolutely love this but sadly proves this show can't survive without the CT, Johnny, Cara generation The new generation of Jay, Fessy, josh just don't have what it takes to carry the show without them
With the CT, Johnny, and Cara generation, the show didn't go casting for influncers type and let earlier challengers personality shine through instead. Also, the show didn't provide a gym for the challengers within the house in the beginning seasons and neither on the season Cara debuted on the show. The show needs to go back to the basics of hiring non influencers type and get rid of the home gym at The Challenge house if they want to continue the show's longevity even when CT, Cara, Johnny, etc. retire. Because like CT stated within the video, the new people are focused on the money and not creating memories. The show needs to bring back the genuine fun that challengers had by having less of making it a sports show and influencer show and more of show of people having fun in the process of trying to win some money like in the early challenge days of when it was called Real World/Road Rules Challenge.

Making The Challenge more sportsy would have the contestants sustain more injuries. I have watched the show since the beginning and stopped at Cutthroat. Took a long break before watching The Challenge again due to life. I was shocked how serious and lifeless the show was compared to when I used to watch it when I watched the season of SLA. Everyone wearing sponsorship clothes just makes it lifeless among the contestants taking it too seriously. I could see why CT said the quote he said on the show. As a viewer of past seasons to watching the SLA season when it aired was like night and day. The old season OGs were competitve but knew how to let loose and have fun and it wasn't all game talk being discussed all the time on the show. I don't know if it's the editing, but the contestants really need to let loose and be more laid back and not uptight to constantly be thinking about the game and the gameplay of the game all the damn time.

@@ScubaSteve3560 Tbh I don't want Cara back, but it was weird they weren't on Ride or Dies together. You'd think those two would have been the first two people production would have called. Maybe one or both of them said no for whatever reason.
Inside info, the house promised to give Adam money if he threw that elimination on Rivals. What's funny is none of them ever paid him. It's one of the reasons he hasn't been back. The producers usually pretend they don't know when cast mates are using prize money to negotiate for people losing on purpose. But that one hurt ratings and the final wasn't as good. Plus the producers really didn't like Bananas at the time and didn't want him in the final. So they were pissed when that happened. To go even deeper, the house promised Adam money if he got into a fight with CT. That was the season he got his head smashed and eaten by CT lol. But seriously, the dudes in the house all got together with Adam and promised him money if he got into a fight with CT. It's kinda shown in the episode. When CT walked into that room they were all hyping Adam up to do it. So he did and as u know, they both got kicked off. They actually paid him that time. That's why he believed they would again during Rivals. So a few of those same people were the ones who convinced him to throw that elimination on Rivals. Adam still hated CT. And they told him "do u really wana win and help CT get money?". They then promised him basically 2nd place money if he threw the elimination.
I loved this So much!! He must be not allowed to talk about his son from divorce disclosure agreements. That’s sad, I wanted to see them together. He’s a good Dad. This was a very emotional episode for me. I’m looking forward to delving into the other vets pasts.
It’s great that he can talk so openly and joyfully about Diem - meeting on the duel ❤he can talk about Diem, their relationship and their future plans with joy and love. I just want him to quit smoking! Could he be any more adorable
The reason CT is the GOAT is how he showed the world that you can become a better person against all odds. He was hilariously childish on RL Paris and his outbursts on the Challenge are folklore legendary type level, we'll never see someone like that again. But his growth as a person has never been seen on TV, and everyone got to see a kicked-down and troubled 240lb wolverine become a wise uncle CT. Except Terrell Owens that mf caught OG CT smoke like no one else.

Sometimes a great redemption arc makes a person (or character) favorites. In the MCU, Nebula has grown to be one of my favorites. It's been great to watch CT grow.

I really enjoyed watching this and learning more about CT. IMO he is one of the people who has grown the most and I just appreciate him sharing all of his moments, highs and lows, with us.
CT is the GOAT. He and Diem had special connection. I didn't know Bananas helped Diem with her health battle. That was nice. But the backpack scene is the most legendary one in Challenge history. CT won more when the show was tougher, he had dad bod and when the prizes were bigger.
CT is a good man and poppa. His development over the years is so beautiful. From angry, smashing faces and rude af. To a very humble, loving, encouraging and amazing friend. Pappa CT is the GOAT. He and Cara are the face of the challenge.
I love watching CT talk about Diem. Makes me cry 😢 😭 every single time. Wish they could be together, but I hope he is able to meet another woman who made him feel the way she did. I hope there's more than one soul mate in his lifetime. He really loved her 😭😭😭
No wonder everyone, including myself respects and cares about this guy’s well-being. You literally see him go from a baby on real world Paris, through adolescence, or at least the parts that we have seen on the show, to this full circle moment at the end. I love that in some small way we got to go on this journey with CT, and there’s definitely still more to come, whether it’s with the challenge or something else but for RIGHT NOW he definitely has another one in him. Bring on season 40!🙌🏻
CT was always one of my favs...when I watching all the way back in the early 00's. I had completely forgotten about him until he popped up on Traitors! This was a cool little episode. and OMG, I teared up at the flashbacks of him and Diem..was always rooting for them back then :)

I could see why CT said the quote he said on the show. As a viewer of past seasons to watching the SLA season when it aired was like night and day.
The old season OGs were competitve but knew how to let loose and have fun and it wasn't all game talk being discussed all the time on the show. I don't know if it's the editing, but the contestants really need to let loose and be more laid back and not uptight to constantly be thinking about the game and the gameplay of the game all the damn time.

Inside info, the house promised to give Adam money if he threw that elimination on Rivals. What's funny is none of them ever paid him. It's one of the reasons he hasn't been back. The producers usually pretend they don't know when cast mates are using prize money to negotiate for people losing on purpose. But that one hurt ratings and the final wasn't as good. Plus the producers really didn't like Bananas at the time and didn't want him in the final. So they were pissed when that happened.
To go even deeper, the house promised Adam money if he got into a fight with CT. That was the season he got his head smashed and eaten by CT lol. But seriously, the dudes in the house all got together with Adam and promised him money if he got into a fight with CT. It's kinda shown in the episode. When CT walked into that room they were all hyping Adam up to do it. So he did and as u know, they both got kicked off. They actually paid him that time. That's why he believed they would again during Rivals.
So a few of those same people were the ones who convinced him to throw that elimination on Rivals. Adam still hated CT. And they told him "do u really wana win and help CT get money?". They then promised him basically 2nd place money if he threw the elimination.
Wait I had no idea about Duel II that Adam got paid I knew about Rivals but Duel II & to think I use to feel bad for him smh

The reason CT is the GOAT is how he showed the world that you can become a better person against all odds. He was hilariously childish on RL Paris and his outbursts on the Challenge are folklore legendary type level, we'll never see someone like that again. But his growth as a person has never been seen on TV, and everyone got to see a kicked-down and troubled 240lb wolverine become a wise uncle CT. Except Terrell Owens that mf caught OG CT smoke like no one else.
CT is by far, my most favorite person on the Challenge. Keep being a badass CT. I’ll watch you til you’re 80 on season 100 lol.

he’s one of the most genuine people, you just know it by how he carries himself & how he treats others. I remember seeing him in miami and I was so nervous bc I couldn’t believe my eyes & I always regretted not saying hi
I really enjoyed watching this and learning more about CT. IMO he is one of the people who has grown the most and I just appreciate him sharing all of his moments, highs and lows, with us.
There’s just something so lovable about him. You can tell he’s really softened and is just a sweet person.

No wonder everyone, including myself respects and cares about this guy’s well-being. You literally see him go from a baby on real world Paris, through adolescence, or at least the parts that we have seen on the show, to this full circle moment at the end. I love that in some small way we got to go on this journey with CT, and there’s definitely still more to come, whether it’s with the challenge or something else but for RIGHT NOW he definitely has another one in him. Rip Diem! Such a strong beautiful soul! I’m crying as an adult because we really witnessed PURE LOVE! The minute she took that bandana off man he instantly fell in love!! Ct needed that female balance to calm him because without it he was savage!! He was so competitive that he was scary! The old challenge can never be topped! The energy today isn’t fun anymore! They have a ball on them challenges!!! It wasn’t even all the way about the money it was about the fun the memories the love of competition!! It wasn’t even about tv they were genuinely loving life! They crated lifelong bonds!
