    I screwed together an engine like this for a mate's speedway car many years ago. Home port job on heads, paint scales to balance pistons and rods, big cam, good valve springs and a 350cfm Holley running on avgas. Missed terribly at 7000rpm and could work out why. Eventually realised the taco could switch between 4, 6 and 8 cylinders. When he switched it to 4 cylinders, we realised it was turning at 9000rpm. Valve train crash was the issue. Different diff gear and the car was a rocket. Great little honest engines. One really cool car mate!!!

    I spent 4 years of my life 1972 /76 in a Datsun dealership parts department.

      That’s so cool, wish there was more of the Datsun cars here on the east coast. Lots of weird ones over on the west coast

    What model webber carburetor are you using? Do you need an adapter for the carburetor? Great video thanks

      Weber 32/36. If you purchase the kit for the truck, it comes with the correct adapter for the intake
