Please know, I love my father in so incredibly much. That man is a great man. If you have been around a long time you’d know he used to live with us. We will do anything to help him out. With that being said, when I am venting to y’all about the work we have to do… I’m not complaining about HIM or how the trailer ended up. It’s the amount of work we have to do that is rough. Just sharing what we’re up to. Not complaining about someone I love dearly, or putting him down. Big difference. 💕 All is good here!!

I am sure your papa don wouldn't take anything you say in a negative way. He is a older man obviously he isn't able to keep his home as clean and tidy as someone younger and a little more able to get down on the ground and get those small corners. I'm sure if he could he would. I think you and Donny are amazing bc a lot of ppl would have been mad and probably wouldn't have even giving him a newer trailer to live in. If that doesn't show how much y'all love and respect him then nothing can or will. (Not that you have to prove anything to anyone)

I dont think you said anything negative about him. You reacted how anyone would in your situation with all the things you have on your plate at the moment and running into unexpected things would stress anyone out. Shut all these people out that say things that don't even make sense. Im glad you are sharing your life and venting girl, your like a friend in a way and I missed you dearly that 9 months you were gone! Screw all these assholes on the internet. @@KristenKasper sadly there will always be someone somewhere who has a opinion about something they don't fully understand. I'm sure if Donny thought u were bad mouthing his dad he would say something about it. As I'm sure papa don would as well. They don't seem like the let it go and not say anything type. Your true followers know how much you have done and will continue to do for him and that no matter what happens no amount of dirt or damage to a object (something that can be replaced) can make u not help him as much as you can. That is what family is for.
You have a lot more patience than I would have had. You are so particular with all your things and the process of your camper being basically destroyed, I just can’t imagine. Keep your head up. Think of all those arm muscles you’re creating.
To all of you who say she shouldn't complain on camera, I don't hear her complain at all. She is stating the facts! And the fact is that cat pee is a pain to clean! Especially if it is not fresh!
She is stating facts and telling us how she handles the situation. I am sure both Kristen and Donnie have enough empathy to know that an elderly man with health problems doesn't have the capacity to deep clean like this.
And I think they all handled this like total rock stars!! I know I couldn't do all of that in so short time.
He wasn’t able to clean and that’s a huge bummer. Also a bummer the cat did what it did for so long. But it’s not a secret that it’s dirty and needs deep cleaned. Guess I could just hide the real life stuff and be fake like some people want 😂🥴 but I just can’t lol

You and Donnie make such a great team!! I’m sure you have been so exhausted dealing with this trailer cleaning and Reno, but you handle this all with such Grace. I can tell you are trying so hard to be positive even though your property was not well taken care of 😢

It is hard to clean a space when someone else hasn't kept it as clean as you would have, but I know you will make it look amazing!

Thank you for showing the reality of starting this journey. The amount of money that goes into it not only for the Renovation but for beds ect. Some just think it’s a cheap process becuase it’s a small home when it’s not

If you're like me, it doesn't matter how dirty or clean a place is, you're gonna clean it from top to bottom anyway befire you move in. Love to you all, you're doing great. Thanks for sharing your journey. ❤

That RV is sm better than the one we have, selling it over cat pee would be kinda bad to do, it can be cleaned it’s jus a difficult process like you said, but as far as I’m concerned, that rv looks rly nice and very liveable

Just being sassy because since I started watching you ten billion years ago Donny has always been washing a vehicle in his spare time. I love that he takes care of his things, I imagine that the average person drives their camper through a truck wash like once a season, at most. They invest all this money and then just let it grow moss :(
I’m loving your RV updates. We farm & ranch here in Oklahoma & use our 5th Wheel as a ‘guest house’ for family & friends, especially during hunting season. I’m ready to do some remodeling in ours, and can’t wait to watch your progress & then your new adventures in the future. God Bless

First of all I'm sooooo happy your back cause I've always been rooting for you!!! Second I'm loving this series cause when you took your break I was diagnosed with leukemia and there's no cure. And me and my hubby always talk about it hopefully one day buying an RV and just traveling and getting to see everything I've been wanting to see. So I'm praying that gets to happen. Kilz is your best friend when it comes to getting rid of animal smells. Pull the carpet and padding and put kilz on the plywood. It works amazing.

I have 2 Main coon cats and they never damaged my house or peed anywhere but the litter box.
Girl you guys have done Amazing! And not a chance that I would have been able to clean the bathroom as well. Bummer all the work you guys had to do but man when it’s done and you are traveling soon you will be so happy of what you did!
Aww Kristen I know it was an absolute ton of work (and still is) and that is depressing, but when you're fighting the grimey battle try and remind yourself that when you bought it you wiped every surface and did things to make it feel more like yours then too. I know this is a lot of work but a lot of the cleaning is stuff you would have been doing regardless, only this isn't new off the lot house cleaning, this is moving into a used home deep cleaning. I love Papa Don and when you picked it up it really did look like he had done his best, but we both know that most men (NOT ALL) don't have the attention to detail that a mama does AND that his body is older and bigger (sorry Papa Don) than yours is so you can actually maneuver into the spaces and really get them where for him it could have been dangerous for him to have got wedged in somewhere or to get down.
I really appreciate you showing the floor scrubbing difference! I imagine like most people, Papa Don likely run a broom over and a swiffer or even a real mop and thought it was clean. Only in recent years have I realized how dang important it is to get down and clean the floors the way my grandma did at least once in awhile! Especially with pets!!! A mop or swiffer can make things look clean but they just don't get into the nooks and cranny's the way our eyes and cleaning tools can!!!
Part of me would be a BIT mad that Papa Don let the cats do the damage to the furniture and stuff but if you've ever had a cat that sprays it can really become impossible to clean up or even notice after awhile. PPL become nose blind and if he wasn't getting down on the floor he would have struggled a lot with actually getting at the pee. I do believe based on my own cats (current cat and past cats) that they can be trained to not scratch certain things etc, but the spraying is just cats being jerks and it's so maddening.
It must be so hard to hold in all the screams!! It would have been easier if it wasn't family that made the mess!!💖.you're doing a great job! It will all be worth it in the end! 😀💖
It’s really all good. This was a week ago now and we love my FIL so much!! If we were that mad he wouldn’t be living in another trailer of ours. It’s a tough situation but it is what it is!

We own investment properties and have allowed family to rent at one time or another. In exchange for discounted rent they were to maintain. Sometimes they did, sometimes they did not. But they are family and I still rent to family! Berkeley is so adorable! Just like her mom, she loves the satisfaction of a good clean!

Too many people posted negative comments about her putting her father in law down… I didn’t see that by watching this video. She is just showing you all the cleaning and hard work they are putting into the trailer to make it livable for them.
I looked up how to get rid of cat urine smell and stains. They said a good enzyme cleaner used about 3 times is recommended.
The two of you are a dream team and again, I will NOT get tired of saying just what an amazing daughter-in-love you are. ❤ Stay positive it will all be worth it in the end. 🥰

UNBELIEVABLE! I CAN NOT believe how nasty that RV was. I am so sorry yall had to go through all of that..let me say you're handling it all like a champ. I don't think I could of. Just a suggestion!? I am sure you've thought of this-but be sure and clean your carpet shampooer with bleach bc that cat pee will get in those hoses and leave a permanent smell.
