The magnetic hooks are also great to take on a cruise because the walls in a cruise ship are steel and there is never enough places to hang clothes like swimsuits etc.. to dry.

The D Rings are great. I have 4 of them on my trailer and it holds done my 4 seater sxs. Just make sure you put the bolt through the frame not the wood.

I have one of the 20 bin storage cases, they work great, and very affordable. They don't lock together for stacking but for the price you can't go wrong.
That wood lathe isn't new, they've just changed the color and the price has gone up slightly. I have the smaller variable speed model that Harbor Freight used to sell, I've had it for about 7 years, it works great for making pens, and small projects like that, sadly they quit selling it, its a great lathe because of the variable speed option, without having to change belts all the time.
I haven't used the planers but they look pretty well built for the price.
I was looking at the Hercules 12" Double bevel sliding compound miter saw while it was on sale for $300, but I kind of have my eyes on the SKIL Worm Drive model now though LOL....about 1.5 times the price though.
I have the Cen-Tech charger. Works great to keep your battery happy over the winter.
I need to look at the Starworks set. I like the 6 pt. I wish Tekton hadn't discontinued theirs.

I just picked up the corded extendable chainsaw (on sale) and man that thing cut everything I could find and the chain is still sharp!

@@pmrich7035 - ohh yeah, I was definitely pleasantly surprised. They were on sale last week for either $49 or $59 🤷♂️ I had no issues using 2 100’ ext cords. You will definitely want to wear a helmet, glasses and gloves as everything has a way to jump down at you and scratch you up. You will also need some bar oil and a small funnel if you don’t have them already.

Be careful with the greenwood sprayers. I e purchased the 2 gal and missing the pressure release valve. Has one burst from the head all the grass killer in it. A relative purchased one at another location and had a similar incident. The 4-gal. sprayer advertised also leaks from the pump head and runs down the backside where your back would be if you are carrying.
The air compressors got a little crazy at HF. I remember getting my Central Pneumatic 26 gallon 150 psi compressor for like $150 or less.
I purchased the Central Machinery cement mixer, and it is awesome for the money. Also, some odds and ends in tools. $25 for a 36 inch pipe wrench that for the occasional need for it was also a good buy. I disagree with your statement.
--- HF supposedly is getting better quality, but I have found I get fewer items there: about the only thing I still buy from HF is their Bremen 11" locking c-clamps - twice as much as their Pittsburgh c-clamps but about 4 times as good - the Bremen aren't as well built as Vice Grip brand, but they are 1/3 as expensive, lifetime warranty, and never had one fail

Yes it's a great flashlight. And by the way I have all ways called the other one " never ready" because it was always dead when I went to use it.

I used to think HF was just junk. I'm still leery on some of their stuff but I've got a fair amount of tools and supplies from them in the workshop and they do the job. I also keep the toolbox in the office stocked with HF tools because I don't get too upset if a tool goes missing (theft isn't a problem, but absent minded engineers that lay down a nut driver someplace where it won't be found for 50 years are a daily problem - and I'm as guilty as any of them).

Sometimes they ask you to show the coupon, sometimes they keep copies at the register. Seems to just depend on who is running the register.
The automatic discounts are with ITC memberships, multi item deals like with the 5 ah battery and charger with a free tool, and during the big sales events when the normal price tag is covered by a 2x4 paper.
The coupons however aren’t automatic. The cashier may have a packet of coupons but best for you to have them ready just in case the cashier forgets.

There is nothing of value at Harbor Freight. Just garbage. Their Icon tools are ok but I can get Milwaukee for cheaper. I have thrown out so many Harbor Freight tools because you use them once and they break.
Even the cheap Pittsburg hand tools have a lifetime warranty. It breaks, you hand it to them, they give you a new one, no questions asked. Same with Quinn and Doyle hand tools.
I have to disagree, it depends on what you buy, but they have fantastic stuff at a great prices, with regular sales on consumables like nitrile gloves, batteries, and saw blades. They also have a great return policy.
Never had a problem with the shop vac I got from harbor freight.
I've had bad experiences with the Pittsburgh pliers and the set of chisels. Neither one lasted a day. But the more premium brands are excellent
