Your skill and research are impeccable. That red on Richtofen's 425/17 certainly matches my memory of the tiny, poorly lit swatch of cloth at the Air Force musem in Dayton. My favorite is your super fun self-portrait. Thanks for posting!
I really like the Feeding On The Legend one. Its a bieutiful piece of art depicting Manfred´s crashed Fokker. He was a bloody legend and may he rest in peace.
Just a super cool series of incredible WWI aircraft paintings. I have been attempting to build some plastic models of these planes. My faves are the Albatros, the Newports and Spads....fantastic work Russell
Hi Russell Smith - a Great set of 'Aviation Art' - I hope you don't mind - but I have shared this on to the Volunteers of Stow Maries (Great War Aerodrome) Face Book page, as these are exactly the sort of planes that are associated with 'Stow' . Cheers - Dave H-G (Volunteer at Stow Maries)

@@davidhollowell-geddes7135 thanks so much. I have not yet visited Stow, but I would absolutely love to one day. That would be a great place to host a painting workshop.

Nice work .. WW1 planes being such a theatrical collection. The national insignias, .. and the unit emblems .. very vivid.

Thanks so much.
Go to Aerowerkes to build wood and tissue models. Also try Guillows and Dumas for more of the same.
Beautifull work!
