Don't worry about reviewing to many Tony Hawk games, I for one won't tire of it! Also great finds in the credits, I wonder how many people have seen all those errors. It's got to be like... under a hundred.
Damn dude the production value has really gone up on your videos. Nice job!
I forgot that this game even existed honestly.
I'm glad to see a new video from this series! Amazing episode as always!
Also, now that you've mentioned it, I wanna see a Razor Freestyle Scooter video from you.
That'd be cool! I read that it exists because Shaba wanted to make a sequel to Grind Session, but Sony vetoed it. I honestly hope scxcr does a lot of research on that game (and maybe gets a cameo appearance from Insetik47, the only person I know to have played both of those games).
Beyond belief segment was brilliant
I got this game for the OG Xbox on Christmas Day. I only played it for 20 minutes and never played it again, mainly because I was kind of over the Tony Hawk games. I also got Cars the video game.
Damn This awesome. that intro had me Rolling 😂.
good shit dood.
THP8 on next gen was amazing, last gen had better level design tho, but the animations are such on 7th gen, looks amazing. I feel this game and the next one are thee most underrated TH games
I'd like to see you review more skateboarding games.
You pretty much summed up my thoughts on the PS2 version of the game (minus losing the save as that never happened to me). The next gen version is certainly flawed but still decent. The last gen version unfortunately felt like a cesspool of pain and monotony. Which is weird because Shaba Games did an amazing job with the PS1 version of Pro Skater 3 and THUG 2 remix on the PSP. What happened here?
Also, completing the game on the next and last gen of P8 ain't easy, congrats on doing so... Now do it again for the PSP version! >:)
How come you didn’t mention the missing gap list in the Rio Downhill level?
1. I don't care how many Tony Hawk games you talk about as long they're still good videos.
And 2. The cutscene animation reminds me of Spongebob Squarepants: Revenge Of The Flying Dutchman in terms of ugliness (Granted it looks better than that game otherwise which makes sense since that was released several years earlier but I digress as far as the animation is concerned)
This was a great video! What PS2 Tony Hawk game would you recommend if not this one? I loved Project 8 on the 360 back in the day, so I was thinking of giving this one a try, but I am glad I saw your video first.
i actually prefer the ps2 version cuz the ps3/360 version is just too slugish for me. the ps2 one is made on the american wasteland engine so it feels just like home :)
Year late but I don't care. What _are_ your top 5 Dead Milkmen songs? Also, listen to Joe's split with Mischief Brew.
To scxcr i think you meant tony hawk’s pro skater 5 not tony hawk’s pro skater 4
I remember my dad got me this version for my 16th birthday. I remember playing it up until I got in the top 8 and never touching it again.
I also have the rarely mentioned PS2 port of Proving Ground. I haven't played it in eons but from what I remember it was also a massive downgrade from it's next gen brother.
You should check out Rad Rat's review of this game.
It was really disrespectful how Shaba games mistitled The Walkman's song. They didn't proof read or anything? Very unprofessional.
Check out Tony Hawk's Project Mod if you have a modded PSP or Vita. Its incredible even though its based on the Psp port of Project 8. I don't like that Project 8's engine that much.
More like Project HATE, *GOTTEM*
Fukr
we get it....ps3 was better than ps2.....
@gebi151 He has a point though, it's not a review of a game, more of a comparison video
