What makes Yang different? He's asked a question and tells a story, like other politicians, but...Yang then answers the question with a solution. Any other politician would finish the story, hoping the story was enough to convince everyone that you can relate to the problem and therefore fix it, without actually providing any kind solution.

1. The US income comes from taxes. Im sure you know this. ~85% comes from you the taxpayer.
2. The projected US income for 2020 will be 3.645 Trillion
3. The US will spend in 2020, 4.764 Trillion
This already leaves a deficient of 1.101 Trillion
This is very bad and it cannot continue.
Sooner or later if we continue to spend more than we take in everything will crash.
4. The spending for 2020 is 4.764 T
-60% (2.841 T) is spent on Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security
(This is Mandatory Spending)
-20% (0.9 T) is spent on defense, much of this pays Salaries of service members. Giving millions of people Jobs and which they spend and stimulate the economy. They are paid with your tax dollars. Thousands of careers created by military related fields.
This also gives benefits aside from mandatory.
-4.6% (220 Billion) goes toward taking care of veterans and service members benefits includes the VA. This also creates Jobs and goes toward salaries.
5. Yang is proposing we Increase this spending by 3.2 TRILLION. This is his own estimated number this is already taking into account the people that will NOT receive the full 1,000 per month by reason of them receiving other benefits from the gov already.

Yang either needs to pull some money out of his a** or we need to completely eliminate our entire budget.

Ok lets say hypothetically we just wipe out the military 20% less spending we have extra 0.9 Trillion, but millions out of a job and now they arnt paying taxes any more which will decrease our tax income from the 3.6 T
But lets just ignore that.
Ok we now have +0.9 Trillion
4.301 T Deficit minus 0.9 T =
3.901 T deficit. Still aint gonna cut it Yang.
But Wait! We tax the rich.
Lets say we just take all the money of the rich the top 150 richest people we will have +2.078 T
3.9 T Deficit minus 2.078 T =
1.882 T Deficit.
And all that money you took from the rich will only be the the first year! And it still wouldn't cut it. Now the rich are all broke and what are you gonna do the next year?
Then the 1% that give everyone their job and their salary cuz they thought up an invention or they offer a service now cant afford to stay in business anymore and everyone is out of a job and nobody is paying taxes anymore.

Yang claims businesses don't pay enough taxes.
GE made 500$ billion and payed 0 in taxes.
That is because there is a difference between income and profit.
Yeah sure they made 500$ billion but they spent 600$ billion paying your salaries!
They made 0 profit.
They shouldn't have to pay any taxes if their losing money.

They were about to open a location in NY creating 25,000 new jobs AVERAGING 150,000$ salaries.

Watch a few other interviews of him, Yang is a great guy who's for all americans, not just the left or right. 1. The US income comes from taxes. Im sure you know this. ~85% comes from you the taxpayer.
2. The projected US income for 2020 will be 3.645 Trillion
3. The US will spend in 2020, 4.764 Trillion
This already leaves a deficient of 1.101 Trillion
This is very bad and it cannot continue.
Sooner or later if we continue to spend more than we take in everything will crash.
4. The spending for 2020 is 4.764 T
-60% (2.841 T) is spent on Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security
(This is Mandatory Spending)
-20% (0.9 T) is spent on defense, much of this pays Salaries of service members. Giving millions of people Jobs and which they spend and stimulate the economy. They are paid with your tax dollars. Thousands of careers created by military related fields.
This also gives benefits aside from mandatory.
-4.6% (220 Billion) goes toward taking care of veterans and service members benefits includes the VA. This also creates Jobs and goes toward salaries.
5. Yang is proposing we Increase this spending by 3.2 TRILLION. This is his own estimated number this is already taking into account the people that will NOT receive the full 1,000 per month by reason of them receiving other benefits from the gov already.

Ok lets say hypothetically we just wipe out the military 20% less spending we have extra 0.9 Trillion, but millions out of a job and now they arnt paying taxes any more which will decrease our tax income from the 3.6 T
But lets just ignore that.

3.901 T deficit. Still aint gonna cut it Yang.
But Wait! We tax the rich.
Lets say we just take all the money of the rich the top 150 richest people we will have +2.078 T

And all that money you took from the rich will only be the the first year! And it still wouldn't cut it. Now the rich are all broke and what are you gonna do the next year?
Then the 1% that give everyone their job and their salary cuz they thought up an invention or they offer a service now cant afford to stay in business anymore and everyone is out of a job and nobody is paying taxes anymore.

Yang claims businesses don't pay enough taxes.
GE made 500$ billion and payed 0 in taxes.
That is because there is a difference between income and profit.

It is generally accepted that automation is going to affect the labor market, that money in politics is affected what politicians are voting on / funding, that GDP is not the best way to measure our countries health, and that our health care system costs too much. And I'm sure you would see, if you look into Andrew Yang more closely, that he is quite different than the rest of the democratic candidates, so personally i wouldn't lump him in with the rest.

As someone who supported Trump in 2016, I would vote for Andrew Yang.
If you want Yang to win the nomination, I strongly suggest that you vote for him in your state's primary. Depending on what state you live in, the primary may be open. If it is not, then consider temporarily registering as a Democrat just to vote for Yang. It may sound sacrilegious, but we are going against the establishment with Yang and it is going to take everything we can muster. You can always switch back after the primaries with no repercussions. Trump's nom is almost certainly secured anyway, so why not vote for Yang in the primaries?

Here’s my argument to why this isn’t bribery to those who believe it is, do you think by giving 10 different people money (which is only ten potential votes btw) would even put a dent in his campaign goal? That’s ridiculous to believe that’s his intention. The point is to show people that it can work and it’s to bring attention to this idea. You can pay the media millions of dollars to run ads but you can’t give money to the American people for basically the same reason? This is a poor argument against his plan. But there’s no legitimate reason to be against it, I’m sure his donators don’t mind he uses the money to promote his campaign in this way, I mean I don’t mind and I’ve donated to him.
