Great video! I've been paying much closer attention to pressure and around here, the reds get more active around 1022 to 1026 range. Favoring the higher end. Rising pressure is best but the fall from a too high level can be just as good if the bite was shut off long enough combined with a dark moon phase.

Beautiful snook Capt! Agree with you on the airboats. Love the picture and can see the excitement on your face still after all these years. That's what it's all about.

Great Video and good info with the onset of winter fishing.
Jimmy Tintle and I faced just such a scenario last Sunday (Nov 24) in Chaz. Total Blue out with topside conditions a bit too perfect. We did quite a bit of sight fishing on shallow water on the poll, but a lot of snubbing from Reds. The trick was, not unlike what you demonstrated, is most of the fish that ate were from pattern fishing or site casting at V Wakes in the distance. It's didn't pay off to try to get too close to see the eat, but to cast at the patterns that were evident, so you didn't spook the fish. We had one fish where you could see the eat, but on those bluebird days it's better to keep your distance.
I'll have to try the mulletron. I was using a small Opening Night Minnowz on a 1/8oz Pro Bullet WeightZ. Similar in nature. Pretty deadly as the Pro BulletZ is such a great bait around shallow grass.

What hook do you use for the zman mulletron. Every hook I use sucks. It constantly falls down.

Most of my guys in Flats Class University are using the Zman ZWG 5/0 in 3/16oz but I use a 4/0-5/0 Flipping Hook from BKK and a 1/4-3/8oz tungsten worm weight

@@flatsclassyoutube5502I gotta try this out boss. I’ve had success with the redfish eye, and headlocks with little weight. But I like the bullet weight idea I feel it’ll work more finesse and cast a mile

Barometric pressure ABSOLUTELY affects fish and when they put the feed bag on. Right before any low pressure system moves in, or coastal storm moves in, is the time to go fishing!! High pressure, is for humans to enjoy. Incoming low pressure is for fisherman to enjoy.

It looks like I'll have to order a Mulletron to get one. I don't see any at the local Bass Pro or smaller shops.
I have a question. What kind of artificial would you throw for redfish and maybe trout at night in a dark place? There's a spot nearby with no lights close and we catch reds there at night with bait on the bottom. But it's boring to just wait. So I'd like something to toss while the bait soaks on another line. In my mind a popping cork seems like a good idea, and so do glow in the dark soft plastics. But I'm curious what you think.

Also the glow in the dark dark color or even white works well at night with no lights. If you have surface lights like near a bridge try purple or purple/chartruese combo

Do you have a pilots license too? BP is the same as the optimal day to fly.
