- The classics still work. Try it out, you might find something you like.
All flies and gear used in this video are available on Slideinn.com. Хобби
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Drove 45 minutes to the river and left my waders sitting on the bench in the garage.
Forgot your oars and lost the best fish of the day. Sounds like something I would do. This was my favorite video.
I really appreciate the fast fish handleing. Speed getting em back above all else. Thanks for the video as always
Well done Kelly. Mel and crew. The classics, like us geezers who still pound the water? There are no "old" flies or fisher folks just classics. The Dude abides as always.
Birdy's Buddy here. Thanks for the lessons and tips, I have learned a ton from you over the years. I'm going to try that tungsten bead next time I'm out. Great shot of Kyler with the sandwich too! Kelly, you are the absolute best! Thanks again, I enjoyed the time at the shop on Sunday.
Wish you happy days Kelly and Mel !!!
I bought your first book in January of 2000. I tied a bunch of patterns from the book and my absolute best producer on the White and Norfork rivers in Arkansas was an Olive Wooly Sculpin, and a close second was the an Olive Rattlesnake . I still have my box of them along with Madonnas and Twin Tail Madonnas as well. I going to fish them again!
Did you know all of those guy’s grew their own mustaches on set! That was pretty cool.
I love the all black stealth Clack.
Nice to meet ya Mel, and the crew, and as always great insights Kelly😉☕️☕️
I'm a decent dry fly and nymph fisherman, but my streamer skills were never that good.
Kelly's streamer fishing videos helped me tremendously.
I love the fusion of gear and fly fishing. These videos have rekindled my interest in the fly rod after getting bored of throwing small nymphs and catching tiny fish...or getting skunked! Thanks for all the info!
Another great informative, well produced video. The cast in slow motion tip is awesome when things break down on the cast.
Mel is a keeper! Another great video. I’m terrible with streamers so I appreciate all the tips.
Wooly sculpin still one of my faves!
Hoping to come see you on the Madison this summer. I mainly guide rivers in Western MT but need to get out there.
Lee
Great tip from camera guy Braeden! Always helps to slow things down
This was videography perfection keep ‘em coming everyone
Enjoyed this, great video. Hoping to make a float trip one day. This was a good look at what is would be like. Thanks
Nice one Kelly always a lot of fun..." The Tug Is The Drug''
Keeping it real as always! Thanks again!
Much Thanks from NW Michigan 🎉
🌟🎣💫
Just fished that stretch a few weeks ago. Glad to see some of the mud cleared up on the left side bank.
Thanks Keely, seeing the TIPS that you use during the float in the riveris ... is very useful for us.
From Argentina PATAGONIA. LIMAY RIVER
Greetings Marcelo 🤗
As always, amazing video. From NE Ohio. Fish steelhead here. Heading to the hebgen and the madison next week. Stopping by the slip Inn to stock up. Can't wait to get out fished by my 13 year old!
The kid with the samich is my hero.....He will be famous one day.
These videos are awesome!!!!
He straightened my hook out!. Been there done that. I was gear fishing with a Rapala and missed what was probably a 5 lb large mouth, which is a big bass in Michigan. I was kicking my self all day until I looked at the lure. Yep one of the hooks was bent. I guess it happens to everyone. Keep the good stuff coming buddy.
Still my idol when it comes to fly fishing! Still waiting to nail one on the Dungeon
Great, super informative video as always. But Bradon might consider utilizing a gimbal and mounting it to the top of a monopod when shooting boat-to-boat. A steadier camera will up his game considerably. Something like a DJI RS4 or RS4pro (or similar) depending on the weight of his camera. ;-)
Lots of great info! Thank you sir!
I love Mel's surprise at the fish on... haha
Damn! She's even a great nurse. "Hemos!!" Here ya go! Best middle-seat partner I've seen you with! ( no offense, Johnny) I think this is your best vid in the series. A JJ? Whodathunk?
take a drink every time kelly says peg 😅
"This is a fishing show, not a knot -tying show." Love it.
Caught my PB male Brown this past Sunday, using just a bit more weight to get the rig down. One extra 'moving bead', and boom. Best of the decade, wading in the #BowRiver . Awesome.
Now what kind of amateur hour s*** is forgetting one's oars? If I was going to pay you for the day ( which I wouldn't have ) should't you be that hotshot kid that works behind the till instead?
All razzing aside, I feel a bit closer to you, Kelly @TheSlideinn because even some of the best make mistakes too. Do you even remember how to cast a floating line for streamers?
Great to see you out there casting, Kelly, and especially with your girlfriend. No chuck - n - duck on this float. Subscribed and notified. Nice work!!
I wish Kelly would stop making these dam videos. He makes them and 10 min after I watch it I am ordering a few flies he was using and changing techniques. Love these videos😂
It’s always good to know that I’m not the only person who missed giant fish 😂
The coolest guy ever Kelly
Love it!
Drink every time Kelly refers to "Pegging"
Less talk, more Mel.
I thought that you could write a short book called the Fly Fisher's Color Manual for both streamers and dry flies. Thanks for your videos.
What leader would work on my 9wt floating line for 2/0 deep clousers?
Took me years to figure out to start with the tip section when assembling a fly rod.
Is that a Homer Rhodes loop knot? Make a tutorial please.
How long is your 2X leader on these rigs?
He said it's 9ft
@@akaperry5626 Thanks
How the hell did you get Mel? Lucky old fart😁
Watch video, adds to cart:
9ft 2x fluoro leader
Tan wooly sculpin
Twistons
3/16” tungsten beads
JJ streamer
Mel
27:15 Nice what?!😂
You WERE going to get "rowed" by Mel that day
Purist.
Blah blah streamers blah. Cool Kelly. Catch bigger fish.
old school TWISTONS GOTTA LOVEM.
I can’t believe people pay $600 a day to drift that river for these dinks . 6 hours 3/4 shakers with a guide and fancy gear . Pretty sad
How the hell did you get Mel? Lucky old fart😁
