Hi Guys, Thanks for watching 😃! Hope you are all doing well in Lockdown! If anyone has any suggestions on where we should visit next (ether close to Manchester City Center in lockdown or after when we are free again) please comment below! Have a good day 😊
I was born on werneth low, at a place called Asplands Maternity Home! Still live about 15 mins walk from there, walk the dog up and around there all the time! Glorious place thanks for showing it!
I always say the best view is looking east from werneth low towards the peak District hills of Derbyshire. I walk down through the woods into etherow park compstall then back to top. That will warm you up on a cold day 😜
That looked a chilly one 🥶. It’s been absolutely baltic this week hasn’t it? Glad you managed to get out and the views looked great. Definitely a sign of the times at the moment when finding a new supermarket is a highlight for the week 🤣.
Haha yes absolutely freezing!!! I know so funny, it’s the small things these days 😂. The supermarket is one of the highlights of my week (and going for some nice outdoor walks of course!)
I go up there often, it's about a 20 minute walk for me to get to the bottom of Apple Street, which is the very steep road you decided not to walk down (and absolutely the right decision considering where your car was) - interesting little fact, there is evidence of iron age settlements on the top close to the monument.
The iron age settlements can be seen from the air but not on the ground, in case you go looking. Wouldn't want you to be disappointed. There are archaeoligical websites on it though.
i woudnt say this is the best view in manchester. i would say its rivington pike in bolton. were you can see right over to lytham st annes and southport. also the welsh mountains.. blackpool and even morecambe

The best place to pick magic mushrooms when the season is right!
