Omg I did not know this was nadines voice all this time. She is an amazing singer. One of the best female uk vocalists . Why has she not had more songs come her way
@@jonathanbanks6467 she was born in Londonderry and grew up in Londonderry and lived in Londonderry 1985-2002 and 2016-now I think (and visited Londonderry plenty 2003-2015 I'm sure). Londonderry is British.
@@stevechristie2569 Nadine is Irish, she classes herself as Irish. She's from Derry nobody in Ireland calls it London Derry. Only British people call it that, yes technically Northern Ireland is part of the UK. But Nadine herself has said in several interviews she's proud to be Irish & proud to be from Derry. I'm sure if you go through interviews you will see that yrself. Have a pleasant evening 🌞
@@jonathanbanks6467 I can class myself as Italian. I was born in the UK and live in the UK. I'm British. She's British. I don't have an Italian passport/citizenship. Does she have an Irish passport/citizenship?
@@jonathanbanks6467 the city's name is Londonderry, I've been there. If it's called "party town" by 80% of people that doesn't mean that's its name. Northern Ireland is British just like Wales. It's not technically British but not really. It's British. Period.
I think it's really a double standard the girls hating her for being a diva when her voice carried the whole group to fame during those first years... even Louis Walsh said he personally contacted her to be the lead singer of the band, and when the girls were all set up and chosen he said that she would be the lead vocalist of the group so...anyway...
When they stood on The Platform Singing "I'll Stand By You", it reminded me of The Platforms that they used on The 1960's Show Shindig. When they sang "Can't Speak French" it could be a fantastic Mashup to "More Than Yesterday" by The Spiral Staircase.
@lukewhite it's dubbed. She sang it live at the concert but it probably didn't sound as good as expected so she sang over it again in the studio and then when the dvd came out, they put that recording over it.
The Drumbeat on Jump reminds me of when The Jackson Five returned home to Gary Indiana after achieving Superstardom to do a Hometown Concert where they were given Keys to the city. They sang Stand and the beat was so similar. Another Song Nadine would have slayed would be "Love's Gone Bad" by Chris Clark, the First White Singer signed to Motown in the 1960's. They were trying tom make her the US equivalent of Dusty Springfield but it didn't happen. She co wrote The Screenplay for Lady Sings The Blues. Another Show she would have been brilliant on was The Webseries Live From Daryl's House where Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates sing Songs with various Guests from Rob Thomas, Smokey Robinson, and so many others.
Delbert told me her favorite saying, something about Sucking. I think her and Delbert had a wild love affair. She made Kenny Chesney cry because he thought she was going to leave him, he kept saying "Don't forget me". Find out all the juicy details on Our Town Celebrity, coming soon!
Nadine's voice hits different 😍✨
One of the best singers on the planet - love to see her represent Ireland at Eurovision
Nadine slays! The group wouldn't have been successful without her.
true, Nadine is to Girls Aloud what Claire is to Steps; the sole ticket to the bank
True, but the same goes along to the others.... wich one of them were important to the group, cause its not all about vocals.
Nadine is untouchable in "Untouchable". Amazing vocalist, I hope her next album will found bigger succes.
I'm sorry for Cheryl, Kim ... Nadine is from another level ! hate her or love her, she's the best singer of GA.

When they sang "I'll Stand By You" the platforms were also used on Shindig in the 1960's.
Ok only a few of these aren't live but the ones that are are awesome
I love girls aloud boring without Nadine

A Song that Nadine could have sung was "Ooh Child" by The Five Stairsteps that you may have heard in Boyz In The Hood.

They should have given her more to sing on The loving kind.
nuhdeen
Amazing voice. Why did 'Whole Lotta History' give me the impression that she was miming? Her expression didn't seem to match the vocals. :\
Delbert who lmao
Her voice is so wasted on The Loving Kind 🤬
