if you see uncommon number sequences (like 222) over and over again, it's a sign of angels trying to communicate with you! I looked up 222 and here's what it said: Angel Number 222 encourages you to take a balanced, harmonious and peaceful stance in all areas of your life. The message is to keep the faith and stand strong in your personal truths. Angel Number 222 tells you that everything will turn out for the best in the long-term. Do not put your energies into negativity - be aware that all is being working out by spirit for the highest good of all involved. Angel Number 222 is also reminding you to keep up the good work you are doing, as the evidence of your manifestations are coming to fruition. Angel Number 222 is a message of faith and trust from your angels. Remember that nothing happens by chance and everything happens for a reason. Maintain a positive attitude and you will find that everything will have positive results and you will receive abundant blessings in Divine right timing. seems right on track for what you went through during this video :) keep up the awesome work, Rachel! you're a huge inspiration
that's incredible. I see it literally all the time. and i've told other people about the "curse/blessing" and they often see it too. It's insane. Thank you for looking it up! :)
That video call with your mom. Literally how I get myself through school half the time is because of my parents. Just hearing how their day went just makes me feel better. You got this Rachel!
I just wanted to let you know I just finished my doctorate level interviews in OT and I always listened to your videos before going into my interviews to give me that push that I needed. IDK what it is, but something about your videos really motivates and pushes people to excel. Just wanted to let you know your impact. Glad I came across your videos!
Whenever I watch your videos I feel extremely motivated to finish my homework(lmao.) I wanted to thank you. From what I’ve seen, Med school isn’t easy, but you always find a way to upload videos. Keep on pushing yourself! Sooner than later, you’ll have those credentials!
I have tears in my eyes after your mum's words. My Mum is the one I always talk to when i Just need to get it all out and she always knows exactly what to say❤️ lots of love from your greek subscriber😘
I lost my mom last year. My mom was my best friend, we were so close . I'm currently in nursing school and having a really hard semester and listening to you an your mom talk just brought me to tears.
My respect for every medical student. You guys living a real hard student life....I really hope it's worth it for all of you. Good luck everyone and god bless
Rachel, thank you so much for the Mediclo giveaway!! I'm so stoked to wear these wonderful scrubs - it'll make my days so much better! 💕 And congrats on 50k! Love from, Nurse Ashley 😊 P.S. I'm currently applying to medical school so please send me positive vibes!
I’m a pharmacy student and I used to cry all the time because it’s hard but when I found your channel I swear everything changed to the better because you inspired me to work hard and worry less ♥️ a new south-herder in the fam
This is so awesome, Rachel! Watching your videos has really helped me cement my passion for medicine, and I'm so grateful for your wisdom and authenticity! You are so needed!!!! Thank you!!
You need to change the Anki option in order not to see the cards repeated again. So, go to the deck and press option then you can change the numbers in the "steps" space. I got a setting from a youtuber and is working for me by not showing cards many times in close period. This is the setting (15 1440 8640) I use. Good luck!
I love how your videos are so upbeat, but you still manage capture the struggle that is med school. Also I love seeing an osteopathic med student vlogger! (I'm a current OMS2) Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Love your vlogs! I would love to see you do a Medical School Morning Routine!!! Im rooting for you and wanted to let you know that you are so inspiring and you have great self-discipline!
hi! so I am a senior neuroscience major at my university so I wanted to say that its so cool to hear familiar words and stuff in your videos when u tell us what you're learning !! I am not lying when I say every single time I watch your videos I always instantly get motivation to study! Also, for all of us nerds out there it would be cool for u to talk more in depth in one of your vlogs about some of what youre learning about exactly? :) Plus it would be cool for you to teach us and help you solidify the info at the same time ;') youre inspiring and we are all rooting for you! #nerdherd
I wrote this comment during your video and then I kept watching and you did exactly what I commented above of explaining a concept you're learning. Its so crazy bc I have a neuro exam Dec 3 on the cerebellum, basal ganglia, LMNs and UMNs so this was so cool!!! thanks!!!
Hey, I'm a 5th year med student and I've been through those breakdowns aswell (we all do). Believe me, it gets worse, but you get used to it. What I mean by this is don't let these breakdowns make you feel any different about your career because believe me, patients make it worth it. OK byeeeeeeeeeeeeee
It would be soooooo cool if you made a video explaining something medical (how a neuron fires, the importance of the AV node in the heart, why cancer is so dangerous, etc.)
Girl. You are the version of me I want to be. Thanks for your videos; they remind me of what I'm striving for and that I do have the capacity to do this path too.
I am M2 in Czech Republic (Europe) and I love your videos so much because I can see the differences between our schools ❤️ The biggest one is that our med school takes 6 years! The second and also the most important thing is that I can’t really force myself to study. I always go to bed around 8 pm because I think it is useless to study in the evening. But because you study a lot during evening and night I think it’s time for me to try it!
I'm only a student in high school but I very interested in majoring in biology and going to med school. I always play your videos to encourage me while I study!
Not sure if this question has been answered before but...what kind of Mac do you have? the 21.5 inch or the 27 inch? I'm looking into getting one and not sure if the 21.5 inch will be too small...thanks!
How do you handle OSCE stress? Because i always know the techniques by heart but as soon as i enter the patients' room my heart drops and i get extremely tense....... Plus: being as shy as i am is not helping at all :(
Hi Rachel! I've been watching you for a while and your videos are always so inspiring and motivating. I hope I'm in the same position you are in a couple years :) Love you!
Do you create all those cards or get them from other students? Thank you for your videos! You always bring good energy and it's nice to see for inspiration!!
Rachael, are you learning anything new about hydrocephalus? If so, can you let me know? I was born with it and am looking for better treatments then shunt/erv surgery. I hope that better treatment is on the horizon.
Congrats on 50K Rachel!! Super proud of you and I know you will continue to grow! I can’t believe it’s basically December as well! I have you have a great thanksgiving!
Valery Nunez Well in your medical school (Europe) most of the lectures are not mandatory so it’s up to you if you go there or not. But we also have seminars and labs and these are mandatory. So during these lessons we have to sign a sheet with our attendance. But honestly sometimes your classmates can sign you. On the other hand our med school takes 6 years! :D
Please how do you make anki cards?...I really love ur videos ,u are so studious and lucky and so intelligent u would really make a good doctor, wish I could be in a university in US to study medicine too
Rhea - Ive wished to get into PA school at 11:11 for the last several years during school and work and everything, and recently got accepted ON 11/11/19. Thought that was really cool 🥳

Your mom's note was so sweet, made me tear up a little bit! Parents are the best to help you get through a tough time!
How did you go through Anki cards while also talking on the phone? - Thats some serious multitasking! Hope everything is better now :)
I probably didn't retain 80% of the cards I hit during that time LOL
I'm doing much better! Thank you

THANK YOU for showing us that it is not rainbows and sunshine 24/7 in medical school like some people paint it. Love your videos.
Do you like anki better than quizlet?? What's different?
yes good question
Anki>>>>quizlet. Anki has spaced repetition built into it, making it much better for learning and retention.
GSNO what’s the anki app called or could you post the link please?
Please do an hour long study with me!!
Are people able to sustain a relationship in med school?

As soon as you said BBB I gasped and immediately felt sooo bad for you.. ha
I didn't know it was possible to get to medical school from SFSU, I swear this is really motivational on a personal level.
Doesn't matter where you've gone. It matters about what you've done with your time/during academic career.
Do you create all those cards or get them from other students? Thank you for your videos! You always bring good energy and it's nice to see for inspiration!!
I create them all!
I’m so sad this is going to premiere when I’m at school 😢
Rachael, are you learning anything new about hydrocephalus? If so, can you let me know? I was born with it and am looking for better treatments then shunt/erv surgery. I hope that better treatment is on the horizon.
Can you show us your note taking style during lecture?
What videos do you use to supplement your lectures?
Thank you for the inspiration, you make me want to get to work when I'm procrastinating on RUclips 😂

Congrats on 50K Rachel!! Super proud of you and I know you will continue to grow! I can’t believe it’s basically December as well! I have you have a great thanksgiving!
Weird question, but what are the best SHOES to wear as a medical student/doctor?
running shoes lol
Memory foam shoes
Nurse mate shoes! They are so comfy! And needle and stain resistant! Highly recommend them (:
Do you plan on taking both comlex 1 and usmle 1? I know that residencies are merging so do you just need to take one exam? :) love your videos!!
I'm going to take both :)
What song is it at the end?
Can you explain what Anki is ? Is it available to Canadian Students ? I am in a pharmacy program!
You are doing great as a student because you are still take about 3 hours to edit and still talk to us which takes up time.
The second one was missing. It's not supposed to be blocking.
Unique selling point of Rachel Southard- Not knowing what day it is lol!
BUt seriously tho, keep up the good work.
it's so bad! I never know the date, day of week, my name..it's bad
I'm taking anatomy & physiology and I finished with the nervous system earlier this month. HARDEST THING SO FAR.
Ur such a lovely soul !
Christmas is around the corner, feliz dia de accion de gracias....Saludos
Comlex Level 1, an exam that is written so poorly that students will pay to actually take another exam.
I wish I could skip lecture like you lol. If I miss lecture twice I get 10 points off my grade🥺
