I bought these and here's my pros and cons: Pros: - Mic is good for the price - Audio sounds alright on these. - The volume control in the headset is ok. - It's comfortable. Cons - the "7.1 surround sound" sounds bad. It just makes the audio echo. - The fit is a little bit too loose for me but I can live with that - The software is just useless Overall good headphones for the price. Not the best, but good.
The problem with this headsets is that if you play with the mute function of the microphone you can break it, the microphone will be on mute for a while. I had this problem until yesterday, the microphone works if you don't switch to mute
@@cjsantos9621 I use them on PS4 for call of duty very good sound for the price and very comfortable. If you are on a budget this is the way to go. I paid about 40 usd but I have seen them go down up to 30 usd.

In my opinion no. The cloud 2 will have a little better sound, but I don't think they're worth twice as much. You could probably find them on sale for black friday though if you want to try them.

Core stinger s are amazing headset when they cost under 50 bucks. Excellent mic(Best Hyper X headset mic for me) and thank god there is mic mute , More than Decent sound (I connected them via usb hub 2 usb cables on my Laptop ) The plastic quality is good and Most comfy headset i have tried under 30 bucks. Maybe contested even of 50 bucks headsets. I personally bought them 29.90 and got 2 of them 4 months ago . But there is a major flaw though. And that is the cable. It is too thin and if you are having a chair with wheels there is a huge danger to cut the cable with the chair wheels.
I have the original Cloud Stinger and one thing I don't like that much is that no matter how little I turn up the volume, everyone around me can hear what i'm hearing, this ones have the same problem?
I have hyperx stinger S 7.1 virtual surround sound and it required to use USB dac to enable surround sound. But I have problem with the USB dac, when ever I shut down my laptop and turn it back on the sound from my right side of the headset doesn't came out until I unplug and replug the USB dac again. And when doing the Restart operation it work just fine, only the shutdown operation has the problem? Can you help me with this problem?
I trie it with my razer head set it didint work I had to connect it struggles to the controller but the again that’s my razer headset idk I don’t play console anymore
@@heyboss8495 theres a whole bunch of differences actually, u can read specs of both headsets on HyperX official page and compare them urself (either way I would go with original stingers because they are much better than Core 7.1 and Cloud Stinger S is an improvement compared to those two so I would recommend going for either S or original)

For gaming stereo is better than 7.1 surround sound unless you have a room of speakers. 7.1 in headsets in games tend to distort the sound a little bit. I would buy the original stingers. I love them!!!
dont buy these ! These are real crap! I suggest u to get older version of these... My sound switch on them is broken, because i dropped headphones once also leather(whitc is not actual leather) is coming off after a year... I have the older generation stinger and they are working perfectly, the reason i bought these is because leather on old ones came off after 3years i have used them on daily basis. I have dropped them multiple times on the floor(u can imagine how many times after using them for 3 years) and the sound switched still works by this day. These new stinger i have about a year now are crap... The leather is ripping off on my face and ears, and that switch on headset broke after the first time they fell on the ground... I'm shocked that these are twice as bad as the older generation ! I think it is fair to say about Kingston company - it's just a business... Don't mind if i do ! Thank me later... And sorry for those who didn't listened !

I agree with the 7.1 echo. It does help me in siege tough for some reason I can pinpoint footsteps better.

Not really but if you want another type of material on your ear pads and not leather go for the Core, personally i prefer leather ones, more comfy lol
