just come across you guys and while i like some of your ideas i have to question like all van life videos i watch why you all use such heavy timber for framework when its not needed
Another ace video! I did the same with our Thetford 165, built a box around it with a lid that is also a seat! If you get a chance have a look at "betty our campervan" please like and subscribe 👍 thanks, Paul (just found your channel so just catching up on a few of your videos)
Thank you. Just came across your videos. Very helpful for my own build.
Glad you like them and found them useful.
Great neat job they are quite heavy if you sit the toilet in a thin carpet tile it will slide in and out better.
Thanks and great idea. Will give that a go! They certainly are really heavy with the water in!

Cleva lad.
Hi Guys do you have a link for the tiles please Mark
Hi Mark the tiles are made by Multipanel. They have a great website and area available all over the place. We got ours from Wolseley.

1 x 4''s or 2 x 4's. Really? It's not a house. You put a lot of useless extra weight in your van I feel.
Maybe, but learning as I go and actually they’re not too bad weight wise. And the overall conversion is way under 3.5T so we’re happy.
