If Trevor is flexible, they should work out a conservative deal with him so that other resources can be used to surround him with the squad he needs. Once we give Trevor the roster he deserves, then we move into the big money down the line. I also wonder how his BTC wallet is looking these days 😁

Simple answer to a complex question is no. Accept the 5th year option and tag on the 6th. If we have to pay him a truck load after that fine. Also draft another qb to sit for a while. Look at the most successful teams and see what they are doing. We needed to make moves around the trade deadline and did nothing. We needed to sit TLaw and let him heal up but no. I have hope though.

Hate to tell you all this, but the other teams in the AFC South improved way more than they were supposed to and our Jaguars declined. Yes, we had the same record, no, we didn't win the division or make the playoffs. We went from a 99% chance of making the playoffs to a busted season because we were too arrogant about Trevor Lawrence and completely disrespected our backup quarterback, who is one of the best in the league! As far as I'm concerned, this team is not elite by any means and our offensive coaching was far worse than the defensive side. We still have the offensive coordinator. Trent Balke, Doug Pedersen, and Press Taylor should be on notice that another last year will not be tolerated! Too many ice cream media questions and way too much partying at Trevor's house!! I wonder how much they care? I know that they have no idea how much the fans care or they wouldn't be partying after losses!! Should never happen!! High school teams of 50 years ago practiced harder than these "profession players" of today. For real!! NFL cares way more about $$ than they do about quality and fair football!! No Jaguars, I'm not impressed. I'll still watch and cheer, but I'm getting old and you all let me down again. Same Jaguars since 1995, fans are always on board, but we keep getting shown that management and coaches care about something else than we do or they'd find a way to win. It was so obvious that we needed help in both lines. Everyone knew it except Balke, Pederson and Taylor evidently. Law of averages should get a superbowl for Jacksonville sometime before I die, but the decision making going on makes it highly unlikely! Go Jaguars!!

I didn't see 30 tunovers like Winston. We still had a winning season this year but injuries to him his wide receivers and playing behind a bad Oline contributed to him having a sub par year.
