That's answered my question! It was following your glowing DL650 review last year that I decided to add Caspian to Ruby and Eggy (the REs) for a bit more long legged action when needed. I love all three bikes but the 800 seemed to be an unnecessary improvement. Especially when Caspian is a pristine red 2014, 13.5k miles VStrom 650 and at £3500 with lots of extras well pleased @TAYM
Hi Taym, something maybe worth including in your vlogs are the servicing costs. Suzuki give a 3 yr warranty. I bought my strom a year old so earlier this year I thought I’ll get the 4k interim service done to keep the warranty. This is newest bike I’ve owned and always do my own servicing incl valves. So I approached suzuki dealer and interim service quote was £440+ vat £88=£528. The service comprises of visual inspection of everything, oil and filter, throttle body balance check.thats it. So I asked how much the full service is at 8k a whopping £650plus vat including valve check. Therefore a 3 yr warranty adds £1550 to the price. They would not lend me a courtesy bike. Service done between 9am and 1730pm? Therefore I will be servicing it myself. I have vacuum gauges but won’t be checking throttles as it runs like a dream. I am totally out of touch with servicing as do own bike and cars (within reason) but its soured my reason to have a newish bike. There is also a guy on here Dr V strom that shows u how to access service mode via cpu so dont need dealer to reset. I wonder how much your other bikes cost to service. As much as I am a fan of my strom that leaves a little bitter taste in my mouth in order to maintain the warranty. I am taking a chance but don’t think it will cost me anything other than resale. I always keep receipts for the service items. My daughter recently broke down on Xmas eve, brake caliper stuck on miles away from me. Towed to qwik fit. £750 for new caliper and discs and pads on 14 yr old 1.0 Toyota Yaris. I priced the parts @£320.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. She is a girl and it was xmas eve miles from home. I wonder if servicing costs could be included on new bikes you try or would it be exposing perhaps. The only job I have been unable to do on a motorcycle is bleed the linked brakes on a bmw r1100r some 20yrs ago after a brake pipe split whilst testing my cornering skills🥹🥹

Now I've seen dozens of photos and videos of this bike and also seen it in the flesh and it is definitely a bluish grey, exactly as you describe it. Problem is price is so much more than an almost new 650. I test rode this after riding my 650 to the shop. It is an improvement but not enough imo for £3.5k jump. On the road 650 is not much behind it. I would defo have a 2nd hand one tho. I did find it hard to get on even at 6’. I've owned four tigers over the last number of years ( two 1200's, an 800 and a 900) but I prefer the 800 v-strom to them all . Then again, maybe I'm just getting odder in my old age......
Hi Mr TAYM, If I may, I would like to correct you on a couple of points. The V Strom 800 that you reviewed some 7 months back was the spoked tubed model called the DE. This one is the Road Edition, called the RE (not a Royal ......). Solid wheels, 19 front & 17 inch rear tubeless. That's more than great ! There is HOPE for Little Dave with this variant. The stock seat is 825 mm, extra charge if you need the accessory 805 or a 855 mm seat. The DE (Dirt Explorer) has 855mm as stock. It looks like the two bikes you have now ridden are the same colour which has confused the issue. The DE has as stock a much smaller screen too. Our RE bikes for here in Australia are due for sale sometime in January. I'm seriously looking at one to replace my departed last years White V Strom 650 which I sold knowing that this bike was sure to be coming based on the GSX8S 2022 arrival.
Thanks FN 😁 of course you may, I am full of mistakes 😁 all the time 😁 yes I released the spec sheet I looked at was the wrong one when I got back 😁 and only checked it because I was confused by what I was seeing in front of me compared to the specs 😂😂😂 but like a trooper, I just blab on and hope the good people such as yourself catch on and correct the inaccuracy 😁 that’s what I love about the channel, the sheer wealth of knowledge everyone has 😁
Its a great engine with gobs of low down torque, its the one thing i really love about this new Strom. But i'm not taken with the looks and prefer the 650 Strom in that department. I'm also undecided on TFT screens, will they be as long lasting and reliable as analogue and LCD screens have become ? I also dont much care for the 'service nag' that is on TFT screens where the nag can only be removed by a dealer. My 650 Strom also had a lot of buffeting and noise, i cured it by packing out the bottom two fixings with rubber washers to give the screen more slant. Made such an improvement that i haven't bothered getting an aftermarket screen. Oh.... and missenden flyer is tutting away at you for the wrong seat height specs 😀
In 4 years of owning a Bike with a TFT Dash Ive Not Had any issues Just as I havent with my Smartphone Screen but not Cheap to Replace In the Event of it Getting Broken In an accident or Scatching or Dropping A Spanner on it ! Screen Protector Was First thing I Got
@@jefflambert8603 4 years isn't exactly a long time. But i do get that my luddite nature for recent tech may be completely unfounded. I was sceptical about fuel injection back in the day, but i wouldn't be without it now. Although i did fall foul with early implementations of it in the 80's, such as my GPz1100 with the infamous DFI black box.
Looks like you've found your winter bike TAYM! Have to admit a bit of jealousy with all the great machines you get to sample! Where I live there's only a big Harley-Davidson dealer and a small Honda dealer. To check out aTriumph, Moto Guzzi, Sukuzi, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, etc. is 200 km away for me. Ok to buy a bike but makes services a logistical challenge. Where I live was the birthplace of IBM and through the late 1980s all the Japanese big four had nice dealerships here, but once IBM left the area its withered quite badly.
Oh wow! I actually have an afinity with Zuzuki because a TS 50 was my very first bike. Used to love ripping the trail with friends etc so many happy happy memories Vstrom 800 is a TS 50 on Steroids haha 34ins thats much higher then the old TS Looksd like a great bike.
So successful was the original V Strom 650 Suzuki decided to go with the Parallel Twin motor, which is cheaper to produce than the V Twin but it's NOT a V Twin. Cheeky piece of marketing by Suzuki, but the 800 Parallel twin is very nice.
Here’s an observation , from the perspective of sitting on my couch, that was the best instrument display I have ever seen. I could tell what was happening. Other manufacturers need to take a look at this. Like other commentators I don’t find it surprising that you chose to ride that particular bike. 🧐
Would you recommend this bike for a 1st gen DL650 owner who is generally very satisfied with the WeeStrom but would like to update to a bike with modern safety features like ABS and traction control?
Interesting 🤔 a difficult question🤔 it is easier to ride I think and feels lighter😁 Is it better🤔 not sure🤔 you can get one of the last 650s for a lot less😁 thanks Rich 😁
Nice review, liked the new bike smell segment. You mentioned the Tiger. The Suzuki motor sounds different. Which stirs the experience, best for you?( Tiger vs. Strom)
Morning my friend, can't recall if I commented on the sv video, I meant to and was off the opinion - move it on. When you have doubt creep in it's just delaying the inevitable. As for the Suzuki, it's hard to buy a bag bike these days. This is a nice bike, the things I don't like are the screen and lack of fairing, but it's horses for courses. All the adv bikes are fantastic, how spoilt we are for choice 😊
Hi All. I have a 2022 Suzuki V-Strom 650 and am looking to upgrade to V-Strom 800 for a bit more power. I saw one at a dealer last weekend, I was able to sit on it but not test-ride because it's a winter here in Upstate New York, lol. I noticed that the seat and handlebars are a bit lower than on my 650 which matches the specs I saw. My knees were slightly more bent when sitting on the bike compared to my 650, but not getting the opportunity to test-ride it I cannot tell if this would be an issue. But this is definitely a concern as comfort is number one priority for me. I am 6'2" with 34" inseam, and my 650 provides a VERY comfortable upright riding position with virtually zero stress on my wrists. I would be extremely interested in getting some feedback about comfort from taller riders who rode both 650 and 800. Another thing that makes me a bit wary is the fact that while the V-twin of 650 has proven to be a workhorse, the parallel twin on 800 is new and could still have some design flaws... Any thoughts or comments will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks KK 😁 I don’t think you will beat the Vstrom for comfort 😁 the 800 is more technologically improved though 😁 so I guess it comes down to what you consider an upgrade😁 I think you need to ride one and make sure you are comfy on it 😁 sorry can’t be more help😁
I rode the 800DE and really enjoyed it, this RE is probably the ultimate all-rounder except that buffeting is awful! This video highlights it well, that's exactly the soundscape I get on a bike with a bad windscreen... It's a shame Suzuki hasn't packaged this platform in a more classic looking bike, the GSX-8S naked version is horrible. They could have had a bike with universal appeal if they just stuck to a classic round headlight.
I am a bit biased.. Because I've spend many years on 21 front wheel and loved how stable it is and how is attacking the pot holes in my corner of the world. Many people are afraid of the 21' for some reason.. I don't remember the front wheel on Biggles but think it was 19 ... For road use it's perfect .. On that side of the things, you love too much the classic naked style of bikes and you sold the poor Biggles ... I miss seeing him from time to time. Are you planning on getting something with full fairings again one day?
Another interesting bike review. I bet it is a good mile cruncher 👍👍but the Suzuki Vstrom is a bit too pointy for me. Similar to Ice Diddley's Transalp.....
I like the look of these. I've got a Z900RS which is great but isnt practical and is hard work in the wind. In a one bike stable do you think I'd be disappointed with the V Strom? Brrrrp ding! Makes me laugh every time. Cheers 🍻
Definitely an excellent bike 😁 but the Z900 is special and a hard one to move away from 😁 having said that, the Vstrom is a very versatile bike that will undoubtedly do everything you want……..just without the same feeling as you get from the kwak 😁 thanks Colin 😁
Hi Mr Taym great review I think if I was to get rid of my SV it would be the bike to replace it with having owned a V- Strom 650 in the passed, still like the V engine so must book a test ride on a RE or DE to see what they are like the power output is real world great for our roads in the uk. Ride safe and keep them videos coming. PS It given me something to think about now.😂 👍
Great way to start a Sunday morning. Coffee, toast and TAYM. Mrs T has started watching on a Sunday morning now although she does think its peculiar how you talk about your inside leg 😁😆😅🤣😂. Beautiful bike although to tall for this bloke. Still reckon apart from the power you'd enjoy the 502.
Well TAYM Wendy has gone so you have room in the garage why not ? you know it makes sense 😉just a note why is it they put manholes /grates on bends and on the line you want to take as well could it be conspiracy by councils 🤔I am not an adventure bike fan per say , but I think this looks better than it's road going sister apart from the dustbin silencer like they all have these days .Suzuki's have always made good engines good looking bikes I luv em maybe looks wise not so much the Katana range not sure why they have been a thing really since the early days .nice one TAYM 👌👍
Thanks crumb 😁 yes those bloody manholes on those corners 😡 I they are there and I still can never find a good way through them, every sodding time wrong line 😂😂😂
Hi. Would you somehow compare this bike with the tiger 900 gt pro? This bike is definitely a fun and joyful bike and significant cheaper than the tiger, which I also like very much.
I think this is going to be the big seller in the whole Suzuki 800 range. Tubeless tyres and a lower 825mm seat height, a good bit lower than the DE variant.
I've only ridden the DE and found the seat height fine at 6'2, but if you're an all-year commuter having cast wheels rather than spoked in itself is a huge benefit. I'd probably have a DE but swap the spoked wheels for cast and keep the rest the same tbh!
@@Geshmaal Not sure you could do that, brakes are different are they not? Even if not a 19" wheel on a bike designed for a 21" wheel will upset the geometry too much. You gotta make your choice 😃
If I’m buying a bike for riding in nasty winter weather, I’m not spending this kind of money. I’d buy a well-maintained used bike instead. I’d feel guilty using a nice, new (expensive) bike for that task. There are plenty of good pre-owned Vstroms around for far less money. Plus, you get a real v-twin like your SV.
Thanks AD 😁 Absolutely, the old vstrom’s just keep going, cost a lot less and there are plenty around. 😁 The problem for a lot of people that use a bike as there main transport is that they don’t have the cash to buy used. With new bikes they can purchase on PCP (which we all know is more expensive) and simply change at the end for another. Personally, I prefer to save up and own what i buy (though there are advantages to the PCP). The best thing about used, older bikes is that you can do your own servicing without worry over the warranty 😁
Morning !TAYM Video + Tea & Toast Good Start to a Saturday Morning TFT Dashes Not every ones Cup of Tea. but so Sharp Clear & Easy to Read on that Suzuki Should sell well to Tall Riders. 😀
Lovely machine but think I would go for triumph 660 adventure, some dealers offering the 660 with panners new for £8995 on the road beautiful and powerful machine that's the one looking at , well I love them all if the truth was known ha , only being 5'-8" can't have it to high😂.
I’d have to say that (like a few others) I thought your SV was going to be traded for the VStrom. 😂 My Uncle was a Suzuki guy, I had forgotten that until just now. I think he gave up riding years ago. Shame, he was a bit of a hooligan… like some of us can be. 😉
Hmm,🤔 , you're thinking of selling the SV and you do like the old Vstrom's, and this is a refreshing update with a parallel twin engine which you also like 🤔? Could you be curing all your itches in one go with this bike eh? 😆😆
can't hear any wind noise - only that daft screen which i would rip off without even unscrewing ;;;; lens keeps itself clear ;;; if you did want to change - and mrs taym lost her shotgun - then at least you would have an excuse by saying its a size upgrade [ to save some face ] , and can tour better , also the built in rack is useful , as for the cost - it is very smooth with no foibles [ dont mention screens ] so the quality is there ;;
Blimey TAYM it almost sounds as if you like this bike ! 😂 Seriously though ,this is a true Vstrom , a liitle bit ugly , poor screen , kitchen waste bin for a silencer , but an incredibly capable bike . 80 hp so it doesn't need the riding modes .But no cruise ? Reliability will be typical Suzuki . Expensive ? Depends where you live in the world but I imagine you'd get a good trade in value against another bike in a couple of years [ or a couple of months if you're 2wheeledwillie ! ] It would be high up on my list with it's 19" front wheel and tubeless tyres , the weight is a negative feature , but if it's low down and well balanced it might be OK . Like all VStroms it's a bike to trust , a journeyman motorcycle .
Possibly though I am not sure when Suzuki decided that🤔 It could have been when questioned over the 250 parallel twin🤔 Funny how know asks about Strom though🤔 As I am sure a few people will know, Strom has a couple of meanings such as river or stream. It’s also used used in physics in relation to current (electric). So what Suzuki are saying is, it’s a versatile stream 🤔 That doesn’t seem right so maybe a versatile current which sort of makes more sense. 🤔 Nope, I think they always intended it to refer to the engine either directly or as a double entendre 😁 Thanks LoY 😁
V-Strom with no V? A parallel-twin instead of a V-twin. I'm calling it the P-Strom because Suzuki are taking the pee! Pedants will likely point out that another name for parallel-twin is vertical-twin so Suzuki can still legitimately call it a V-Strom.
I'm here. Resting eye's 👀in Lazyboy 🤣. Been busy holiday period barely keep up with TAYM 🦒 but getting better top 20 last couple of times.Getting better & things returning to normal so should be back on top soon.
This would make a great winter bike & be a good replacement for 650😲. I would also try the Benelli TRK 700 or 800 which the 700 apparently be readily available in UK in February.Suzuki be better than the Benelli though but Benelli are great for the price but Benelli are on the heavy side.
Still bloody wet here they reckon late January-February now for normal Kiwi summer weather.Have had a few hot clear days but ground usually brown not green.

no no no ,, the buffeting is caused by the stupid screen ----- it belongs in a wheelie bin ;;;; no need for 80 bhp and quickshiter if there is a set of lights every 4 inches [ 101.5 mm in peasant language ] , and its a ktm rip off ;;; ----- now hello - time to be nice ,, the bike seems to move effortlessly ,, seat height for me [at 6.2 ] would be fine , nice straight bars , ---- and i say again no need to wipe the lens ;;;
People cannot read Suzuki's published data, which is why this childish nonsense about the "V" circles the globe 17 times before anyone corrects them. V= versatile. Because Suzuki said so. Doesn't matter if it meant something else at some other time. Anyway, the letter "V" in the alphabet is less than 90° so Ducati has been more right than most, by using the "L" letter.
😂😂😂 yes, it’s strange isn’t it 🤔 and such a coincidence too 😁 I would have to guess that the S in the 650 SV is just for Suzuki, making it the Suzuki 650 Suzuki Versatile 😁 it would be really cool if Ducati could make a true L by making one long stroke barrel and one short stroke barrel 😁😂😂 thanks ES 😁
If I were a manufacturer, I would have the ability to define anything I wanted to about my own products. And then thousands of people being crybabies about it.
34" Seat Height 😲🪜I know the Giraffes are taking over but I didn't know Suzuki was making bikes for them 🤣Such a shame because this bike would suit so many people's need for a mid-sized do-it-all bike. I can see this making an excellent touring machine and powerful enough for 2 up riding it is a shame that Suzuki have made it less accessible especially at a time where more females are getting into biking who do tend to have shorter legs. It's not a bad looking bike either and I quite like that colour but sadly, like your mate Dave, this would be way too tall for me.

I've owned four tigers over the last number of years ( two 1200's, an 800 and a 900) but I prefer the 800 v-strom to them all . Then again, maybe I'm just getting odder in my old age......
We’re all getting older 😂😂 thanks SJ 😁
Hi Mr TAYM,
If I may, I would like to correct you on a couple of points.
In 4 years of owning a Bike with a
TFT Dash Ive Not Had any issues
Just as I havent with my Smartphone

@@jefflambert8603 4 years isn't exactly a long time. But i do get that my luddite nature for recent tech may be completely unfounded. I was sceptical about fuel injection back in the day, but i wouldn't be without it now. Although i did fall foul with early implementations of it in the 80's, such as my GPz1100 with the infamous DFI black box.
😂😂😂😂 yes, read the wrong specs before setting off 😂😂😂 thanks MJ 😁
17th😲 getting better.
Thanks SW 😁 well if I were you I would be getting myself a HD pan America 😁 or a Honda TransAlp 😁
Oh wow! I actually have an afinity with Zuzuki because a TS 50 was my very first bike. Used to love ripping the trail with friends etc so many happy happy memories Vstrom 800 is a TS 50 on Steroids haha 34ins thats much higher then the old TS Looksd like a great bike.
Thanks BBT 😁 yes, I was also raised on Suzuki 😁 my AP 50 then X7’s 😁
So successful was the original V Strom 650 Suzuki decided to go with the Parallel Twin motor, which is cheaper to produce than the V Twin but it's NOT a V Twin.
Cheeky piece of marketing by Suzuki, but the 800 Parallel twin is very nice.
Thanks MR 😁 yes, someone else said that they are now claiming that the V is in reference to versatile 🤔😂😂😂
Nice review. I have the 650XT (not a winter bike!) and love it.
Thanks Z 😁 and the better bike I think, and that means a lot because this bike is very good 😁
Lovely bike TAYM. When do you pick it up?!?!
😂😂😁 I wish 😁 thanks MG 😁
Here’s an observation , from the perspective of sitting on my couch, that was the best instrument display I have ever seen. I could tell what was happening. Other manufacturers need to take a look at this. Like other commentators I don’t find it surprising that you chose to ride that particular bike. 🧐
Thanks JW 😁 yes, very clear and easy to read 😁
Nice ride along and review! Thanks! BTW, I love mine and still kept my Tiger 850s. Different but still a great ride too.
Thanks RF 😁 very smooth bike I thought but then the tiger isn’t a rough ride 😁
Strom)
Thanks SS 😁 I prefer the V but out of this and the triple it’s definitely the triple 😁
Exactly what I said in TAYM’s video on his SV 😂😂
I think I would prefer the Transalp if only I could persuade a Honda dealer to let me out on one 😁 thanks Ice 😁
@@TAYM Thanks a lot for your feedback. That's in agreement with my thoughts. Do you know if lowering the pegs on 800 would be an option if needed?
@@ElDudorino123 I don’t but I can find out later this week. I will let you know😁
@@TAYM Much appreciated!
Thanks G 😁 yes I agree, a more retro style would be marvellous 😁
Lovely bike and another great review. Happy New Year and keep up the good work.
Thanks PL 😁 same to you 😁
I am a bit biased..
Thanks Stefan 😁 I would like one I think 😁
Another interesting bike review. I bet it is a good mile cruncher 👍👍but the Suzuki Vstrom is a bit too pointy for me. Similar to Ice Diddley's Transalp.....
Thanks GBD 😁 yes, I like the transalp too 😁
Are we looking at the future?
Sadly not 😂😂 thanks SB 😁
PS It given me something to think about now.😂 👍
Thanks SS 😁 the question is are they worth the extra 3-4 thousand more 🤔
Not really when you can still buy the v-strom xt or cast wheel dl v-engine😊
@@Suzuki_Ste exactly 😁
Splendid review!
Thanks PP 😁
Marvellous
Looking forward to you testing the triumph 400x
Thanks TB 😁 me too 😁😉
Great way to start a Sunday morning.
Thanks IT 😁 yes, the Benelli is in short supply over here 😁
Well TAYM Wendy has gone so you have room in the garage why not ? you know it makes sense 😉just a note why is it they put manholes /grates on bends and on the line you want to take as well could it be conspiracy by councils 🤔I am not an adventure bike fan per say , but I think this looks better than it's road going sister apart from the dustbin silencer like they all have these days .Suzuki's have always made good engines good looking bikes I luv em maybe looks wise not so much the Katana range not sure why they have been a thing really since the early days .nice one TAYM 👌👍
Thanks D 😁 you could but the triumph is a much more sophisticated bike, which you would expect for the price difference😁
I think I like it but I don't like the big exhaust box but it would be too big for me at 5 ,8
Thanks GCK 😁
Well, both Transalp and Africa Twin were used to be V-twin
They were indeed 😁 thanks A 😁
I think this is going to be the big seller in the whole Suzuki 800 range.
Thanks Terry 😁

Looks like a sweet ride. Have an 05+06 650/1000 V-Strom 's. Very nice rides this 800 is a peach! Thanks for the ride along!
Thanks I A R 😁 it’s a real nice bike to ride indeed 😁
Lovely machine but think I would go for triumph 660 adventure, some dealers offering the 660 with panners new for £8995 on the road beautiful and powerful machine that's the one looking at , well I love them all if the truth was known ha , only being 5'-8" can't have it to high😂.
That does sound good value and there is also the triumph tiger 850 sport for about £9,450 😁 thanks AW 😁
I’d have to say that (like a few others) I thought your SV was going to be traded for the VStrom. 😂
My Uncle was a Suzuki guy, I had forgotten that until just now. I think he gave up riding years ago. Shame, he was a bit of a hooligan… like some of us can be. 😉
😂😂😂 thanks PW 😁
Now if only Suzuki would improve the looks.
Thanks M😁😂😂😂
Hmm,🤔 , you're thinking of selling the SV and you do like the old Vstrom's, and this is a refreshing update with a parallel twin engine which you also like 🤔? Could you be curing all your itches in one go with this bike eh? 😆😆
😂😂😂 thanks Mel 😁 I don’t think so 😂😂😂
@@TAYM 🤣🤣, get yourself a gen 2 Vstrom for a couple of grand for your winter bike?
@@melfzs more possible 😁 thanks Mel 😁
Looks huge, heavy and expensive!
Costs less than a Bonneville T100, is lighter and yes, much roomier!
I think they all are 😁 thanks JH 😁
Fair point 😁 thanks G 😁
can't hear any wind noise - only that daft screen which i would rip off without even unscrewing ;;;; lens keeps itself clear ;;; if you did want to change - and mrs taym lost her shotgun - then at least you would have an excuse by saying its a size upgrade [ to save some face ] , and can tour better , also the built in rack is useful , as for the cost - it is very smooth with no foibles [ dont mention screens ] so the quality is there ;;
Thanks SG 😁 she has a spare for just such an occasion 😁
This could be a perfect SV replacement! 🤔
😂😂 stop it Willie, don’t go putting ideas in my head, Mrs TAYM won’t like it 😂😂😂
Blimey TAYM it almost sounds as if you like this bike ! 😂
Seriously though ,this is a true Vstrom , a liitle bit ugly , poor screen , kitchen waste bin for a silencer , but an incredibly capable bike .
It would be high up on my list with it's 19" front wheel and tubeless tyres , the weight is a negative feature , but if it's low down and well balanced it might be OK .
Like all VStroms it's a bike to trust , a journeyman motorcycle .
Strangely, I prefer the 650 😁 I have no doubt this is better but I just like the original 😁 thanks DS 😁
Doesnt the V stand for Versatile
Apparently the V,stands for Versatile 😂
Does it really 🤔 very interesting 🤔 just a coincidence then that the originals were VTwins or did Suzuki come up with more recently 😂😂 thanks KW 😁
V-Strom with no V? A parallel-twin instead of a V-twin.
I'm calling it the P-Strom because Suzuki are taking the pee!
Pedants will likely point out that another name for parallel-twin is vertical-twin so Suzuki can still legitimately call it a V-Strom.
😂😂😂 thanks SB 😁
This or the 1050?
1050 😁 thanks Pat 😁

Been busy holiday period barely keep up with TAYM 🦒 but getting better top 20 last couple of times.Getting better & things returning to normal so should be back on top soon.
This would make a great winter bike & be a good replacement for 650😲.
I would also try the Benelli TRK 700 or 800 which the 700 apparently be readily available in UK in February.Suzuki be better than the Benelli though but Benelli are great for the price but Benelli are on the heavy side.
Benelli great Italian brand..pity still not made there.

no no no ,, the buffeting is caused by the stupid screen ----- it belongs in a wheelie bin ;;;; no need for 80 bhp and quickshiter if there is a set of lights every 4 inches [ 101.5 mm in peasant language ] , and its a ktm rip off ;;; ----- now hello - time to be nice ,, the bike seems to move effortlessly ,, seat height for me [at 6.2 ] would be fine , nice straight bars , ---- and i say again no need to wipe the lens ;;;

🙄🤣
Not for you Dave 😁😂😂
34" Seat Height 😲🪜I know the Giraffes are taking over but I didn't know Suzuki was making bikes for them 🤣Such a shame because this bike would suit so many people's need for a mid-sized do-it-all bike. I can see this making an excellent touring machine and powerful enough for 2 up riding it is a shame that Suzuki have made it less accessible especially at a time where more females are getting into biking who do tend to have shorter legs. It's not a bad looking bike either and I quite like that colour but sadly, like your mate Dave, this would be way too tall for me.
Thanks Mike 😁 😂😂😂😂 the giraffe market is massive 😂😂😂 I’ve been thinking about getting into the polo neck business for winter 😁😂😂
