Definetly made my mind up now. H Pipe I’m going for on my 22 GT. I always wanted to keep the stock quad exhaust as it looks perfect already. I had a 2011 GT and had flowmaster outlaws on it and it was way too aggressive for me. With a H Pipe I can have just a little more sound to an already pretty louder than normal exhaust and this does it perfectly without breaking the bank. Thanks guys!!

@@BLP3Motors get on the highway about 70mph, drop it from 10th to 5th and just hammer the throttle. You have to be really quick on the upshift but you are going to floor it right at the peak of the power and it just feels incredible. I’m still bone stock aside from a resonator delete. I’ve ran both but the tone from an H pipe is 🤤
I’m more fascinated in that start up hack. I’m trying that today 😂😂

Would you happen to have sound clip of it at start up, idle, and ripping down the road? Love to hear it with the active exhaust as i have that as well, i want it but louder in race mode but not too much drone etc etc

could I counter-flow an H-Pipe (if the H section is around 1-foot long), its a sideways mounted 3L v6 Duratec
mid-engine, hence it's quite challenging to get an X-pipe in (which
requires gas flow in the same direction from both pipes). I have watched
some flow simulations on H-Pipes and they look like a counter follow
system might work OK due to the right angle nature of the pipework.

You should not even be asking this question. Unless you're too young to know. There's only one setup goes on a 5.0. This precedent was set back in the 80s. Is supposed to have H pipes and Flowmaster 40. To give it that loud high-pitch growl. Go back and listen to an 89 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT with h-pipe and Flowmasters. You'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

How does an H pipe affect resell? How hard is it to revert back to stock?

I have always been an H-Pipe fan. But lately I am liking X-Pipes too. I think for American muscle H is better. European, am X-pipe makes it sounds more exotic.

so question, what about true duals? no crossover, curious to as how that would sound because when i get a 5.0 im leaning towards trying that exhaust setup and i rarely see those on these mustangs and im wondering why is that?
