Those are good type of choker sliders you are use but you got them backwards on your mainline hard on the mainline next time time the mainline breaks flip them so open side with the pin is facing the skidder lot less wear on the mainline
Yes they ended up backwards, the day before we changed the mainline and didn’t realize they were directional. Found out the hard way… They’re on the right way now so no more have broken. If a tree gets stuck behind a stump or rock the chokers just snap now lol
Yes I agree, I have since tightened them and they’re nice and snug now. We were trying to beat the warm weather and finish that bush while there was still snow on the ground
