What a beautiful layout. The ICG does not get enough attention. Thanks for sharing.

I used to run on this same territory (retired from Union Pacific from the St. Louis to Global Four in Joliet long pool) and it's amazing how easy it was to recognize where I was by looking at the model. Excellent work!

It's great to see an ICG layout. The industries look realistic and unique.

Track warrants are fun to keep up with on a 1:87 scale layout.

Thanks! I know of a few other operating sessions in my area, I just need to find time to join them and make some more videos like this!

Nicely done operational video. Loved the shot of the commemorative loco’s in the background as your 2nd train ran by. Long live the V&O, AM and VM!

OMG, the Amerucan Eagle the Bicentennial paint scheme very nicely done.
I loved the Mars light on the Cotton Belt engine. I always liked a Mars light on a freight or passenger engine.
I live in Elmhurst Illinois which was on the Iowa Division. I saw those SW units a couple of times a week. Really enjoyed the video awesome train layout and my favorite railroad. Thanks for the run down memory mainline. (See what I did there? LOL 😅)

I collect GM&O 1961 to 1971 (plus a little rainbow era) and I would love to run those trains on this layout and video them going through Godfrey. That's where I live.

Just out of curiosity, who was your dispatcher that day?

I cannot remember his name. But the initials were PMJ. He did a great job keeping all those trains moving with no cornfield meets!

Sit on the stool and make the train come to you is real life, not need to walk miles to get to a car.
