Judaism might have slowly eroded away. history could have been very different. without Islam there would be no Arabic unity and the Islamic conquests would not happen which would not fuel the age of exploration and colonial era would also not happen. no consolidation of the world's wealth would not catalyze the industrial revolution. man... @.@

Roman empire would likely last longer. without popularization of Christianity Roman culture would be dominant, and much easier to spread, there would be no need to allow other religions to practice freely. Rome would be in much more control over crushing local cultures. repeated Jewish rebellions gives incentive to Romanize the populace.

@jaredf6205 There aren't that many I can name, especially ones from this era and region. Zoroastrianism is one that has survived, but there are only 100,000 of them. A good example of what I said previously is Egypt. When the Greek hellenized Egypt, they also brought Greek philosophy with them. If Christianity never existed, it is fair to say that Greek philosophy in Egypt would have a massive impact on religious life. We know this did happen because the Jewish philosopher Philo (lived before spread of Christianity) used Greek philosophy as the basis for what he wrote. Greek philosophers actually wrote about monotheism being correct whereas Philo's philosophy has elements of atheism. So following this pattern, we can say that atheism and just general secularism (because the Hellenization of Egypt removed many things about the Egyptian religion) would be very popular
