That is a very morden building even for Buddha but as someone has said that , "don´t judge a book by its cover".Therefore the morden building is just a facility to protect the orginal structure inside it. When you go inside the morden building you will discover another building which is the real Mayadevi temple.
The mountain in Pokhara is almost 7k meters. But it is of religious importance to hindus and the local Gurungs. It is named after its shape, Mt. Fishtail or Machhapuchhre in nepali. Annapurna mountain trio is in the 7.5-8k range though.
Please also watch the landscapes of Manang and Mustang. Similar landscape as Utah but with mountains in the back drop.
And the mountain that you two are talking so much about is mt. Macchapuchhare ....just look at 4:47 it's the one with best view

Swayambhu temple or monkey temple is not the same as Boudhanath - two separate places to visit - both equally important to both Buddhist & Hindus.
Majority of Mountains are in Nepal and the land belongs to Nepal. So, no you can’t climb from other sides .. except a few but that’s not because it belongs to Tibet, it’s because people have to get to Tibet side if they wish to climb from the north side of the mountain ..
Most of the mountains that’s not climbed yet are considered sacred - when it’s considered sacred, you can not climb it 🤷♀️ the most famous mountains that’s sacred are mount Kailasha (it’s in Tibet) .. Machapuchere (fish tail mountain) and couple of others are in Nepal !!
Nepal has much to offer, depends on what you are looking for ..eg, adventure, culture, food, religion/spirituality .. it’s probably one of the most diverse countries on the planet… from landscape to culture to religion to languages to food .. you will not find this kind of blend anywhere else in the world !! 🙏🙏❤️❤️🇳🇵🇳🇵
