It's great for states like New York where they've weaponized the vehicle inspections so you have to remove tint to pass inspection.
Mississippi Highway Patrol pulled me over on my way to French Camp reason that window tint was too " Dark ⁉️" I asked if I take it off will you forget about the ticket ? He smirked ,said I'd like too see that ! By that time two other cops one his Srgt. , I pulled the Static film off and Srgt. started laughing his head off 🤪💯 Got the cop flustered and mad he got the other officer to get the Dog to sniff ,he went wild cop spun me about put the cuffs on me Srgt. said calm down !! What got the Dog Cop wired up was some beef jerky that had dropped between the seat and console Srgt told the Cop with the dog "You better start feeding that Dog 🐕 😵 Finally everyone had a big old laugh and went on our ways 👍
I can’t even remember what I ate this morning
& then you woke up right😂
And then everybody clapped and cheered your name three times. You lying punk illegitimate son.
That has got to be the best I read this year.
Did everyone start clapping too
Thanks for a great tutorial , the static cling tint is the way to go for me because here in NJ any tint in front is illegal and this can be removed very easily if needed
Yes! It's a life saver in situations like that.
Same here. I’m in Nj also
Finally found a video that answered my question. If I can place a static film on top of the tint.
@@TheBronzeArmy Yeas 100% can!
My guy almost had to smash the freshly tinted window out to unlock the truck 😂😂
Great vid thanks man!
My cling tint is coming in the mail today and I'm super stoked. It's precut but I appreciate this video so much. There aren't many for static cling on RUclips. Much love to you! Hope you're doing well.
Oh for sure! Just clean the window well and the rest will be easy, even if you mess it up once or twice, no biggie, peal her off and do it agan!!! Probably the best tint for learning with!!!
Where did you purchase the pre cut?
??
I wanna know where you got precut static tint, please.
Thank you. "Holiday"? Now I know you're a painter lol. 25 year body paint here. 🤚
Great work with the thorough troubleshooting and instructions, man. This is a solid tutorial. Thank you!
I’ve got a car registered where front tint isn’t allowed but drive a lot in Arizona so I’ll be installing and uninstalling about 2wice a month so perfect for me :) thank you
That stuff is great because if you get pulled over by the law you can pull it off without having any adhesive and it looks good
Facts!!!
Thank you so much for this video. I have the exact same tint and I've made a mess of it. I have enough for one window so I'm going to try your great tutorial and see if I'm more successful.
Success?
“we go hard in the paint round here” 😂
Good job! I like to put a microfiber around the card then squeegee 👍
Good video I’m traveling across country camping off grid this tint will help with privacy
Fucking thank you so much. You are the only person that made it clear which side goes on the damn glass. You rule.
@@HOLLYHOUSE11 🫡 Good luck with your application! Glad I could help.
When the door was locked at the end!!! 😂😂😂
I roll the window all the way up. line up the bottom edge then fold it back on itself a few inches and roll window down to cut top edge. Then when you slide it down that 1/4" from window edge that's the part that goes down below your felt strip. Never down static before, I just wanted something to do my 2 windows with to make sure I still want it before spending any money.
Fun fact...those knifes have a small blade break off slot in black bottom/end cap
Thank you sir this was an excellent tutorial I'm doing my home windows with this
How is viability? I know static cling is alot thicker, does it take a couple days to clear up like adhesive tint
Haha still watching!
🤣😉
Rep. 361_Texas. Hey man I talked to you on RUclips a lil while back. I'm in Baton Rouge and Matt Brown does my tuning also. I just installed a Stinger Heigh10 and I was trying to get my Chrome Cast to work. How can I run it while I'm driving down the road? I was hoping to run the Chrome Cast off of my mobile Hotspot but it keeps telling me to add the phone to the same wifi as the Chrome Cast. I know you had a video on RUclips where you did something similar. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Hey man great video! I live in corpus how much would you charge to do something like this on my truck?
I'm not for hire lol. Sorry my friend
Good video for beginners thanks
So nice of you
Great tutorial! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great tutorial! What brand static film is this?
Thanks!!!! Gila is what i used in this video.
@@Rep361Texas oh awesome! I have that one at home, thanks for the response! I just got my car retinted for our yearly safety inspection but I miss the 5% tint haha. Gonna use your method to temporarily retint it again lol
Thank you! I'm going to do this on my Dodge Ram too
Great video! I’m installing the same type of tint on my Dodge Ram 1500 single this weekend. 🔥
Nice!!
very nice. Thank you!. But also. You said moist and tips in this video. Polite tips.
So do it Just like so?
Great tutorial
The question is ..do you have to shrink it?
No you dont no heat required
Thanks for sharing very instructive video
i put 5% of this gila stuff on my front windshield and i can't see out of it cuz it's super blurry looks like ur drunk u think i put it on backwards? or would it not make a difference...
No way to put tint on backwards.. you didn’t get enough water out. I only use gilla because of it’s availability to me and I have never had this issue. Only issue visually I have seen is how easy it is to scratch.
@@forin9345 okay so after it got hot it became easier to see through does it need to see heat?
@@alexummm it needs to dry and set in, not getting enough moisture out will also make it look hazy. What kind of hard card do you use?
@@forin9345 I used the blue handle squeegee but mine looks blurry asf.
@@guillermomejia593 same here maybe there’s a bad batch. It was blurry(heavy pixelated )ass hell before I even put it on my window Looked great from out side but didn’t even feel safe driving my truck. Took it right back off. Trash!!
Awesome job bro….. tk u!!
No problem!
Mine came off the next day am so confused how to use this thing is it supposed to stay on the windshield of its jst meant to come off
Yeah I’ve been doing some research and I’ve seen countless reviews talking about how the tint peeed off when the window was rolled up or down, also people have claimed it doesn’t stick at all and will just fall off. People have also claimed that during the middle of the day the tint will start to sag and peel down from the top and hang half way stuck. This crap is a waste of money. Bite the bullet spend some money and get it done professionally. You won’t regret it
Whenever applying tint you have wait at least a day or two until it drys or stick meaning (don’t roll your windows down)
I want easier, really dark static cling that I can constantly reuse for car camping.
What about tint you can apply without water? Pop on pop off
Haven't seen anything like that yet, Idk if you've tried tinting without water and soap but it doesn't work very well.
Does the blurriness fade? I installed static tint yesterday and it’s pretty blurry
Did it fade by now ?
@@ghostlyshadowz9269 it did a little bit but it’s still blurry. The film will never be as clear as normal tint. It’s better at night than during the day. I’m tolerating it now. Prob just going to get it tinted at a shop tho
Where can you buy it?
walmart has it!
@@masonwallace4179 thanks! I got some coming in the mail now... I wonder how it will hold up with the temperature changes in NY
@@jaysjourney4518 I’m also in NY and I’m thinking about buying it but ima bit worried about the weather affecting it too much. How’s the tint holdin up?
@@AnoninCog honestly it's not as easy as they make it look. The shit is so thick it's hard to cut clean lines. And I can't get my sedans back window if my life depended on it. But if someone was more skilled and you had easier windows than a subaru impreza I think it could work.
@@jaysjourney4518I live in NY and I have Walmart Black Magic Brand static on my windows for 2 years and it is flawless...no issues with peeling IF IF IF you get it tucked into the side and bottom window seals. This video is wrong, he cut it too perfect...it needs to be inside the seals. Also, I would not put this on front windows...even after curing a few days in the sun, it does clear up, but its still much blurrier than traditional tint. Remember this is vinyl.
I just watched a video where a guy said this material was a scam
It is not, It is not a glory product, but is not a scam. People do scam application videos with it but this is what it says it is.
Track vents update🤔
Working out a few minor buggs in R&D and Shipping, I want to be sure you get what you pay for in a timely manor.
it was peeling off in the end
Does shiiii stuff
